MODERATOR APPLICATION DO'S AND DONT'S DO - Use proper grammar. Capitalizing every word is not proper grammar. E.g: Hello, I Am Madison, And I Am Applying For Mod. DO - Include as much information as possible. Yes, there is a format, but write beyond that. DO - Focus mainly on the 'Why do you think you should become a moderator?' section. Work your best on all questions, though. DO - Be honest. Lying in a moderator application can and will lower your chances. If there is something you absolutely can't be honest about, don't include it. DO - Be mature. Never trash someone's opinion, give them a bad rating for not supporting you, etc. DO - Be open to constructive criticism/opinions. As a mod, you will need to expect these things. DO - Add color, make it look nice! No one wants to read a boring application. DO - Follow the template. This will give you a better chance of becoming a mod. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- DON'T - Mention your donation rank, as they will take this as a bribe. They don't care whether or not you're a donor. DON'T - Write a couple of sentences. Include as much information as possible. DON'T - Say 'I wanna be a mod so I can ban hackers'. There is a lot more to moderating than that. DON'T - Say 'The current mods barely do anything, but I would be active' because they have lives outside of Minecraft. DON'T - Say 'If you support me, I will support you back'. One, you should support only if you think they are worthy. Two, it doesn't matter how many supports you get, it's up to CypriotMerks and/or Noobcrew, not Mods/Players. DON'T - Apply right away. Familiarize yourself with the community first.
