English and some French Why do you think you should become a moderator? There are various reasons as to why I think I should become a moderator. I am: Friendly. Being friendly is the key to being a successful leader, that's what mods are. They help run the server, and to ensure it runs smoothly, good mods that connect with the players is the best solution. Helpful. A helpful mod lets new players know what to do, and what not to do. Also, being helpful means more productive replies and suggestions. Productivity mainly focuses on communication, and being able to connect with the players gives the entire server a boost of positive energy. Kind. A kind player is someone who will brighten someone's day, or make someone smile. Whenever I am on, I try to welcome the new players as they join the different minigames. I also strive to brighten someone's day, everyday. Devoted. Devotion ensures a safe server for everyone, no matter what their age. I will go out of my way to make sure that there is no foul language or anything vulgar in the chat. I will always make sure everyone around me is having fun! Responsible. Being responsible is important, as humans mess up. Its in our nature, and I know that there are a lot of people who were falsely banned, or so they think... Being responsible means being able to fix what you have messed up, or to be able to take care of something. You know how parents will get children a pet to teach them responsibility? Its like that on a server, first you have the mods apply, and that's the big test. Then, if the 'parents' or NoobCrew and the rest of the amazing staff agree that this person is good enough, you are welcomed into the family. Patient. I've seen this at firsthand, a patient person can always have a better chance of succeeding. If you are patient and consistent, you can shape whatever you are shaping into something beautiful, or even better, something that is life-changing. Patience in a mod is important because you have to take in all those complaints, and you have to deal with all that extra stress! Past experience also helps a lot! How long can you be active on the server everyday? With my wifi problem fixed, I am able to get on often. I can be on forums often now, and minechat if needed Afterschool wouldn't be till 6, and later on from there. 9pm to 10 pm on weeknights, and anytime on Saturdays. How long have you been playing on Mineverse? A little over a year now. Do you have past experience as a Moderator? Yes, on a small server. I was soon promoted to Admin, and then CoOwner. About Me: I am 19, a senior in high school. I enjoy playing minecraft, both single player and multiplayer. I also enjoy to draw, dance, and read in my free time. I love to help people, and if I have spare time, I go to help whoever I can. I always say hello, or welcome to new players that join the server I am on. When I am not playing to my own extent, or helping people, I will watch the chat more closely. In skygrid, I've noticed quite a few users calling other players rude things, and it saddens me that people are being this rude. Especially with the new servers, they don't always get the attention from the mods. I enjoy having fun, and all my friends say I'm fun to be around. If I become mod, I will still have fun, but I will also take my duties seriously. If my best friend is breaking the rules, I will ban them if need be, as favoritism is not something I support. Well... for one thing I know Leigh in real life! We are in the same grade and school and stuff! I am not trying to be mean... just very honest.. I feel like Leigh is trying her hardest to be Mod... and i get that... and I know I wouldn't be a good friend to spoil it for her... but for one thing, She has used x-ray multiple times to find diamonds.. bases... a lot of things... she also has lied about her age on here.. She is almost 13! not 18! and she doesn't Welcome people at all.. at least I haven't seen her do it... She has been Admin on ONE Server! and that was a server that was run by 10 year olds... No joke... Yeah I want to support her and all... but She lied... about a lot of things... I wish she would be 100% honest... because then.. I would be happy if she got picked for mod.. I would be happy that she DIDN'T lie about these things... but even if you don't believe me it's Ok.. I just sent this thing in so she could be Honest and NOT Lie... Once she is honest I will support her... I would be very happy for her... and Yes... I think this post will ruin MY chances of being Mod... but that is alright... I just want Leigh to be Honest... I also realize there are lots of the ... -.- and Leigh... you even told me on Skype you would NEVER ban any of us.. no matter what... and I need you to not lie about that either! you MUST ban us if you see us do something wrong... Yes, I would ban you if it came down to that. But for one, I'm not mod. I know for sure, that you don't hack. I also make it a point to welcome people, even before I found out that you could apply to be mod. I don't want this breaking our friendship. It is a game, remember that. I am trying to be honest. I truly am. And the age thing, that was an accident. I didn't really think I would ever use the forums account, other than voting. You know that.
