Super and Trial Moderators

Super Mods/Trial Mods

I'm here to give out another suggestion to further try and improve the server.


As most of the community knows, Trial and Super Moderators exist on the Skyblock Forums. These ranks are given to organize the moderators.

The "Super Moderator" ranks, are given to those Mods that are loyal, and do an amazing job helping the server. They are active as much as they can Forums and Server wide.

The "Moderator" rank, is given after you've been on the server for a good amount of time, and have been doing a good job.

The "Trial Moderator" rank, is given when you are a new Mod. It's called "Trial" because you are still being evaluated my the other mods and/or Cyp.

I asked myself, why not make that happen on Mineverse? Mods are being promoted every 2 months. They all have to be "in training" when they first start, which is basically "Trial Mod".

If this were to get added, I have suggestions of who would be Trial, Mod, and Super Moderator.

The Moderators from Skyblock that are already Super Mods from there, should be Super Mods here.

These suggestions are based off how good they are and how long they have been a Moderator to the Server.

The Trial Moderators were only promoted yesterday, so it makes sense.

What do you guys think? Should Super Moderators and Trial Moderators be added to Mineverse?

 

I'm sorry, but I don't support.

I personally prefer how the Mineverse forums work rather than the Skyblock forums.

 

We don't use them... We never did.
I like how we are unique from Skyblock.

I agree with the SMod, just not TMod because they may not ever get the full Mod position, due to Cyp being so busy.

idk about all the Mod crap but I think things are fine without any new crap added.. (Just me being honest) :D

I truly do not want this.

Mineverse is unique compared to the Skyblock forums, and I want it to stay that way.

 

I get it but idk why we need those kinds of mods.. it just makes mineverse a lot more complicated :eek: its a good idea tho :p

 

SMods get more perms than regular Mods... It's a rank before Admin. We would able to break chests in Prison, role back (maybe), fix griefings, get Creative (maybe), etc.

 

Beef and Madison are right, we're different from Skyblock and it should stay that way. Due to limited amount of staff members, Smod, mod, and TMod would be completely pointless/ridiculous, considering Skyblock has around 30 moderators all together.

Every moderator on here, newby and old, are amazing and loyal to their job. Personally, I don't know the difference between mods and Smods on Skyblock (sorry, nub) but I'm sure they have some kind of different perms. These perms we have now are perfect, and would probably take some time sorting out which rank gets which perms.
However, that's just my opinion

And I want you guys to remember, this server is a big server, but still growing. Something new is given to us every week. If it's a griefing being fixed, to new members to the staff. Anything can change at any moment.

 

There are 61 staff members on Skyblock. :lol:

 

Hmm... I'm not too sure I support this now, but as Mineverse gains players and more and more moderators are promoted, perhaps it would be more necessary to implement?

This suggestion should be mentioned in a month or two, maybe I will consider it then.
Who knows, Crew may be working on getting another gamemode to replace BvZ.

 

BvZ will never come back? It's being replaced? ;-;
