I recently stopped playing this server because of it just not being enjoyable anymore, mineverse opens up new game modes just for them to die, survival, space prison, etc, one of my favorites was GTA, honestly I don’t know what this game mode was removed and why the owner can’t just bring it back, if it was because of lack of players then might as well just delete space prison and survival to, I don’t know, I just loved the gta on here and if it came back I would return and many others. edit: another server mc.cosmicmc.net has the exact same gta map as mineverse had so you can probably just download the map on there
I support this under the right circumstances. For one I think updating and keeping up with the current game modes should take priority over adding a new one to deal with and watch it die out from the same things the other games have died from. While GTA was fun to me, and to many others, I think a lot of the core of Mineverse did not play it and GTA always had its relatively own separate community. So, I don't know how appealable the whole idea will appear to most of the remaining people of Mineverse or the staff team (whom most of at this point were likely not even around for when this game mode was active). However, as I said, it was extremely fun. The game mode was very unique and even had its own texture pack to make things feel cooler. As you and I discussed on discord before, it was also super fun trying to accumulate the rare items which were almost impossible to obtain. I think there are a lot of things that would need to be tweaked about GTA. 1) there were things broken about it in the first place, can't remember what exactly at this moment but there were quite a few bugs, and just overall tweaks needed to be made. 2) other changes I imagine will have to be made to make the game mode fit in and be incorporated into how Mineverse works now as opposed to how it worked before it was removed. 3) in general, I would hope upon it being re-added that more would be added to the game. Like I said to you on discord, it would be cool if you could rent an apartment to store more things (similar to cells on prison). I imagine there are plenty of other small things that could be added to make the game more fun too. That being said, this is what I would say is a priority on Mineverse (to me) before trying to go about re-adding GTA (in no particular order). - Infection reset - Space prison removal (replace with prison pls ) - Bed wars fix or removal - Parkour many updates or overall reset - Skyblock reset - [...] and I imagine there are other things I'm not thinking of that might take priority over this too, these are just general game mode updates that I think are big player boosters.
