[Mods on the server]

I have to ask...are mods nothing but paperwork?
I see mods mostly on the forums dealing with things they should be doing.
And whenever I see one online they're just standing there talking while there are hackers all around.
Not all mods do this (thank god), but really..have the mods gone lazy?

 

Lol? We do alot of stuff you dont see, i hate threads like these. We are allowed to relax sometimes, we cant act like robots forever, we are people.

Not being mean but your not a mod, you dont know what its like and how hard it is, so don't judge before you put your self in there shoes!

Ares, I understand where you're coming from.

We have other ways of tech, so when we aren't online, we're usually on our phones/tablets. In fact, I've probably posted about 3500 messages from a tablet.

 

Dont forget that when we join a game we get slammed by about ten people pm'ing us as well as people shouting in chat for us. So right off the bat we have to answer everyone's questions or they rage that all we do is ignore players and never help. By the time we get a chance to explore and watch for hackers, we recored them and ban them... whelp time to process the ban. What you do not know is that we have to log all our bans... upload the video, etc. That is why we might be afk. We may look like we aren't doing anything when in fact we never stop doing things. We are constantly catching hackers that are not reported, constantly working reports from hackers that are reported, constantly answering questions and helping players. Before you go raging in a forum post you might try to ask a mod why it appears they just "sit around".

Okay, I'm just a guard, have only had it for 2 days, and it's already stressful. I get around 3 pms every second. I can't handle everything at once, and with 50 people's trying go kill you at once, it's actually a really hard job. I also go afk quite often or hover mud air invseeing people accused of contraband weapons.
If it appears we're sitting around, we're probably working out butts off behind the scenes.

 

Here's a tip: Don't mention you're there if you don't want to get slammed.

 

This is why we need /v XD

 

All it takes is one person to do /list and literally everyone starts screaming.

 

I have been a mod plenty of times actually.

 

Just a note to everyone I said that not all mods do this.
