Watching it, so far 8/10. Really like how the story’s unfolding so far. Also I’m pretty sure it was animated by mappa too
You are correcto this is one of my selling points when I recommended it to aly and sando yet it only worked on one of them so far :uneasy:. Gojo for life ey.
I was given 5 Centimetres Per Second years ago as a gift and only just watched it yesterday, beautiful film. Laputa: Castle in the Sky is hands down my favourite film - I've re-watched it hundreds of times over the years, first watching it from the burned DVD disc my mother made when I was a 4 year old, I believe it was the first anime I watched, and it introduced us to ghibli. As for a recommendation from me, if you haven't already, give Summer Wars a watch, really fun film.
I thought I would update this a bit, since I've watched more shows since: Initial D - Street racing and drifting was literally popularized worldwide from this anime, and it definitely holds the reputation the series has. The first few seasons aren't up to the animation quality seen in recent shows, but if you can get past that fact, the show is truly spectacular. Jujutsu Kaisen - New anime release that blew the charts with stunning animation and storyline. If there is a show you just don't want to miss, it would be this one. Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titan) - I can't believe I held off watching this show forever (I'm sorry @Sando3).. AOT is beyond spectacular and truly a masterpiece of its own. The story, the character development, the animation, and especially the original soundtrack - words cannot explain how great of an anime this has become, wrapping up in its final season. Trigun - If you're a fan of old animes and a bit of comedy, you will love Trigun. The first few episodes are a bit slow, but it picks up really quickly once you get into the anime. No. 6 - In my opinion, this show was alright, but I would not recommend watching. The story is a bit off on several occasions, and overall, just doesn't flow properly. There are some good moments, and it will keep you intrigued, but that's about all.
While I was already watching jjk and snk (aot) I do have to thank you for the trigun recommendation! That's definitely something that interests me after looking it up. Vash gives me Gojou vibes ngl.
Guys I never looked at any anime in my life. I'm pretty instrested to start that addiction, what should I start with.
You should start with death note and attack on titan and then after that you will most likely know what you want to watch next.
Depends on what genre and if you want to start with movies or series first. I recommend starting with movies since most anime series are long and takes some time getting used to. Most anime movies are based around romance or adventure, so if that's not your type you should just go straight to the shows. However, if you can't stand romance/adventure movies, and prefer action genres, I suggest starting out with either Demon Slayer or Jujutsu Kaisen. Both are short and good anime shows so it should peak your interest in anime. Jujutsu Kaisen is pretty new and will soon be wrapping up it's first season. I'd suggest Attack on Titan/My Hero Academia but those may be too long for starter animes.
