Hey guys, We are finally excited to announce an idea we've had for quite some time and something some players were even expecting. The network Minetime, is now merged with and playable on Mineverse! For some that have no clue, you might be thinking, what is Minetime? Minetime is a network that started off in 2013 and was created by CollinPotato, a friend of mine in the early days and in a time where we almost collaborated on creating just one network, in the end however, we decided to just create our own separately which is when Minetime was born along with Mineverse. To some, Minetime & Mineverse always looked like sister servers with (some) similar content, as we shared ideas and custom plugins. Minetime was a network with millions joined and one of the most active servers with consistent peaks of over 2,000 players, which was a really big thing back then. After time, of course just like our story went, things died down and Mojang was forcing servers out for selling things like /ptime (yes, they thought commands like /workbench or setting your /ptime on PvP servers was a p2w perk) and the server was eventually shut down. After some time, I ended up receiving the server to give it another go. Launching it back in late 2016 which didn't go as planned and then once again just a few months ago. We would like to continue the livelihood and history of this server, so we decided it would be best to merge it together with Mineverse as what we are now calling a 'Mineverse Galaxy', instead of a standalone server, this is a network of servers basically within our network. This is so players from either network can play on whatever they choose without going back to the client. You can find this section in your Navigator under 'Galaxies'. The menu is designed so potentially, we can add even more networks we create or partner with in the future. Here, ranks, votes, bans and rules are completely separate. By rules, we basically mean just Hacking. Minetime is one of the oldest and perhaps still one of the only servers that allow basic hacking, even on PvP. The server is made for the huge amount of players that enjoy modded clients and/or PvP hacks. If you are someone that enjoys this, Minetime might be the safe place for you as we continue to permanently ban hackers on Mineverse. On Minetime, we brought back the oldschool servers, even the original maps such as: 1) Lost Islands - an early Skyblock server that is focused on a community driven economy (no server shop/mass redstone farms). 2) PvPFest - one of the first KitPvP servers, hacking allowed, a mix of style from both OPPvP and KitPvP. 3) Prison - a classic server with an A-D mine Prison and a faction enabled Free world.
