OP PvP DON'T remove KB, axes, sticks, etc. from OPPVP

There have been recent rumors of Mineverse staff planning to remove knockback and kb items from OPPVP. While kb can be annoying, I dont think most players realize that the high kb and kb sticks have been a fundamental part of mineverse oppvp culture. The KB15+ has been a unique feature of OPPVP for years and holds a special role in oppvp combat.

For example, kb axes and sticks have been used as helpful defensive measures. When a player is in a 1v1 and needs to gapple or change armor, a kb hit on his opponent can help create space between the two players to stall for 2 seconds. Additionally, kb items have been used on the defensive end to help out your allys. If you witness one of your friends getting 3v1'd, you can step in with a kb axe and seperate 1 or 2 of the attackers from ganging up on your friend.

KB axes and sticks also have served crucial roles on the offensive end. KB can be used to push your opponent into a corner or wall, to then quickly gain offensive control. This tactic is not broken or unfair, because all players have access to ender pearls to tp out of a corner, or they can use the classic bow flick to boost themselves out.

Removing kb makes no sense. Dont want players to be sent flying? Then whats next, removing punch V and punch 15 from bows? Overall, removing these features limits the flexible mobility that oppvp players currently have, and take away from Mineverse's unique PVP attributes.

Well both punch bows and kb hits can be used to either annoy players or be used as a tactical measure. Idk why we would remove one. Just keep both

Real axe gang members would use them as a viable pvp option because it fits their play style, or they just enjoy the ability to choose their weapon and using something different, which is what they should be used for. Your not an axe gang member, your a knockback gang member. If you were an axe gang member, you wouldnt care about the removal of kb, because its still an axe, but butter to be honest. You just want the kb, so welcome to the kb stick gang

lmao, well first off, the "Axe" in "Axe Gang" refers to the enchanted axes provided in Mineverse OPPVP, all of which have knockback. Your definition of axe gang would only apply if axe gang existed and operated in other servers besides Mineverse.

Secondly, you're uneducated in the current political structure of the Axe Gang and its partners and associates. I'm currently leader of the KB empire. The Axe Gang is a subset of the KB empire, hence they both share a similar function of kb, with the Axe Gang focusing on KB axes.

lol well i already knew what your response would be. But have you ever considered the business that the Axe Gang has provided you? Since we dont use swords, we often supply you titans with a sufficient supply of s35's and s40's that we collect in crates, selling them at discounted price. Everyone likes to use the KB empire and Axe Gang as a scapegoat for all their problems, but fail to acknowledge the benefits we have provided you. I have also personally saved your life in game a couple of times.

Great, so theres another good use of KB. Its a useful anti-cheat tool

I have to agree that you sell s35s/s40s for a good price and i often buy em, but that does not change the fact that you and your whole ''gang'' literally ruin the pvp experience of some people.

 

I only kb you away if you're attacking one of my friends. Its called defense

goku I dont recall a single thing you or any of the axe gang members have done to better the server and the experience players have while playing. All I see is toxic messages from you. Additionally, no one, including you, sells s35s or s40s for a discounted price, not even for what they are worth. They are all overpriced and you are only using axes for 1 of 2 possible reasons, because you find it enjoyable to mess with other players in PvP while they are fighting, or because you are too bad to use a sword and fight someone legit, which one is it? If your argument is that you use them for defense, did you ever think that maybe you get attacked because all you do is annoy other players?

 

We sell s35's and s40's for discounted prices all the time. Even my archenemy Gini confirmed above ^^^

I've already explained how KB axes serve fundamental offensive and defensive functions in my original post above.

Not a single person uses kb axes as consistently as you do and thats a fact. Literally everyone knows you have a reputation of trolling and kbing people while they are fighting.
