Kitpvp on mineverse is very in active right now and I will tell you why, getting protection 4 kills is meaningless because there are so many protection 4 sets in the economy right now. If kitpvp is going to be revived then it needs to have something that is worth something in pvp. Adding protection 5 and sharp 6 into crates will give people goals to get protection 5 and it would give people a reason to pvp. The server is dead as can be and adding someone like this will revive it, probably. The main point is that killing someone in protection 4 doesn't feel as good as it used to and adding protection 5 will give people a reason to play. Again the server is dead right now so I do not know what bad could come from adding p5
No support. The only reason s40's are balanced in OpPvP is because of super gaps. Adding these items into crates would make KitPvP very pay to win. If somebody with pIV and a sV was fighting somebody with pV and sVI there would be no chance for the pIV player. I do agree that there needs something to happen to KitPvP to bring back players I just do not know what that would be.
Im sure once there would be enough protection 5 in the economy where you could buy it with your balance of 70k bud and protection IV people do not have to fight protection V players like boi. The whole point of adding protection 5 is players fighting each other with protection 5 and when somebody kills someone in protection 5, they actually earn someone with a lot of value compared to a crap protection 4 set.
I'm not worried about myself bud i'm worried about the other 99.9% of players that I don't consist of not being able to afford it.
You both bring up excellent points and to be honest, I agree with both of you. Earlier today, I went into kit pvp so that I could interact with some players over there, and there were only 3 people on. I was blown away. Something needs to happen to kit and something soon. Although we just recently received an update to kit, it didn’t really offer any new or additional incentive to play, don’t get me wrong, I love the map, the builders did a great job, but it just isn’t the type of change kit needs to make it more active. So, I support your suggestion to add p5 and s6, this would be a very substantial change which would offer players an incentive to play. However, Toads concerns are very legitimate concerns that can’t be ignored. I say in order to receive more support on this thread, we meet somewhere in the middle and make it so that it’s just the p5 or just the s6 being added rather than both. Just a thought
Add a different way of healing, and surviving. And maybe this could become a thing, but I don't really see this going anywhere with the current state.
no support I believe the reason are very obvious. The kitpvp economy is already set up and we would not want to mess it up
