Hey Guys, My Idea is in the title and is pretty simple... No dropping of items at spawn. (except the lock away rooms). If people want to get rid of stuff, use the dispose signs. If people want to recycle their items, use the shared chests. I'd love to hear feedback. Thanks
Support. It's so annoying when you join kitpvp and your inventory gets filled up immediately. - Don't ban people, but just make it impossible to drop items
The problem I have with this is not the recommendation, but the principle related to it. If you start punishing people for such trivial things, it will set a precedent that allows for other tiny things to be punishable. I don't think that's good for the server. They should try to limit the amount of rules that there are, not account for every possibility and occurrence. Adding this rule just makes the staff have more to deal with, it allows people the opportunity to trick others into dropping items, and it all-around just makes things more complicated. I think we can deal with some items on the ground. They're removed by clear-lag after awhile anyways, right?
It wouldn't necessarily be a rule. Rather, (I am assuming) that players won't physically be allowed to drop items out of their inventory. If a player is trying to drop items out of their inventory by pressing Q or by dragging it out, the item(s) would remain in their inventory. But I agree with you, it would be impossible to track who dropped what in spawn and if it was simply a 'rule' instead of a physical impossibility, then it would be pretty much useless. So really it all depends on what the staff would decide to do with this suggestion. But anyway, I support.
Didn't think about that. If they made it impossible to drop items at spawn, then I'd support this implementation.
Neutral, it is annoying spawning in on kit and your inv gets full and then you gotta clean it out, but the mc thing clears the entities every couple minutes, so It's not that big of a deal. (my ocd goes crazy when my inv isn't clean lmfao)
Hey Guys, I'm interested in what the reasoning is for the no support, just so that the community is aware of the implications of this from your perspectives. Cheers
