https://www.beastnode.com/portal/knowledgebase/109/Minecraft-1710-EULA.html This now officially scares me. Minecraft has had it's toll I guess... :(
Beastnode is a server domain. They host servers, and they are my server's domain. They are getting prepared for EULA, as they are making it so you can't run your server if you don't agree with it.
They are ruining their game, and I hope they realize that. Crew makes solid cash off of this server to keep this server up. If he can't dedicate money to the server... *Blows up*
You're only just realizing this? Notch himself wants nothing to do with MineCraft, hence why he left development. The game is too far gone to go back and now they realize they're losing profits, they're trying to pull people from servers and buy into realms, which is a horrible idea, but that's how Mojang is going to work, they got lucky with MineCraft. Really lucky.
Will we keep our ranks because if not people can actually request a server shutdown/closure or even if someone can track the IP they might sue Noobcrew?
Players that have already received ranks and items before the EULA came into play, will probably still keep them. I can't see Mojang coming onto every server taking away ranks anyways.
Mojang think that players would actually just let this pass by and give in by buying a realm when really we all know that their about to get cans of 'whoop rants' on every single social networking page they have. We all know how this ends. Thanks to them, they are degrading Minecraft and it is one step closer to actually being 'just' a small pixel game that no one enjoys. If they keep doing ballsy moves like this, they are going to lose all of their profits, 99% of them. Also, i'm not certain if the people at Mojang were actually thinking straight but to keep a server alive and running they need to pay the bills for it. These 'donations' come from us and we chose to do this because we want to purchase ranks and perks entirely for us. I mean seriously, what kind of parent is going to allow their kid to pay 250$ just because he wants the server to 'live'. That's nonsense. I honestly loved it when our big furry friend from Sweden was actually making the big decisions rather than Jeb.
