Unbreak1 if your like me of FWH or DORT or JOEY or ETHAN we dont get accepted for our appeals, even if we have changed staff dont care, its because of our past, and Unbreak im pretty sure you cheat, i have a recording when we were in a call and u needed help with your sht ghost client

Support, quarantine is hell for some people this could help them too. Also it could potentially help the player base, sure some people will come back and back, but they will ultimately end up banned again and the ones they changed will still be there, making the player count higher and playing legit. I think this will help people out and help the growth and condition of mineverse. many other successful servers have ban resets such as skycade, invadedlands, mmc, lunar, and countless more and it helps them.
Support, Mineverse lost alot of its players because of the perm bans. A unban all would be better for everyone, more action etc... You guys wouldn't have to use bots in order to make mineverse look like its coming back to live.
I think many staff and players aren’t taking this thread as seriously as it should be taken. A ban reset is a very smart decision, especially in the world situation right now. Many people that don’t cheat anymore but can’t get unbanned because they won’t pay 20$ to get unbanned from a server and they can’t just appeal and say their sorry, these players will be back most likely and won’t be cheating. And as I said, the ones that are going to cheat again, will untimely just get banned again, leaving mostly legit players back, but there will be more players online. this works with a lot of servers and I see it working with mineverse because it’s not too small but it’s not as big as Hypixel where they would have a million cheaters back on in a second. If this happens I feel like it would be great advances for mineverse and guaranteed a higher legit player count.

Yes there will be a small time where things are a little hectic but it will even out soon after and there will factually be a higher legit player base and the players that havNt stopped hacking, will end up banned again.

You want a serious answer? Fine then, I'll give you a serious answer and show how dumb the arguments made in every single one of these threads like this are. First off, what people don't realize is mineverse is far from a server that doesn't give second chances, you have to do a lot on this server to get perm banned, and you have to do even more to be unable to appeal or buy an unban from that perm ban. Even if you're perm banned on here for say, hacking, if you haven't done too much you can appeal in around a months time and we'll usually give you another chance. However if you break that chance you will not be given another one. The only people we will never unban are the people who have done very bad things, and / or we have given many, many, many second chances. Player's can appeal anytime they want, and they can appeal as many times as they want (within a certain time frame, 2 weeks to a month between appeals) The only people who would not be unbanned by appealing or waiting out their ban are the ones that we would reban if we did another ban reset. We've done them in the past due to us changing bans plugins, but even then, we kept some people perm banned, the ones we kept are the ones we know haven't changed and will not change. We would do the same if for whatever reason we did one in the future. You haven't changed though, have you? Everytime I've done something you didn't like, banning you, denying one of your appeals, whatever. You very quickly change your attitude and immediately come swearing at me and threatening me. I mean just a few months ago you were threatening to swat 3 members of the staff team including myself if we didn't unban you from discord. You obviously haven't changed, I mean hell earlier today you did this Here's the thing, mineverse did a ban reset last year, if a player has managed to do enough within a year to warrant them being perm banned without appeal or able to buy an unban, they don't deserve to be unbanned, simple as that. As sando said, we don't need to trim the bans yearly either. Speaking of sando, he's the only one so far that has really supplied and argument of why this is a bad suggestion, and the only counter argument you've had to it was "go drink tea". If for some odd reason this suggestion was actually made as a serious one, then I'm sure the only reason it was made was for OP to get his friends, or himself, unbanned. Which will not happen. We do not have plans for a bans reset and we will not have plans for a bans reset, even if a bans reset happens we will still keep certain players banned. This suggestion has been made before and just like this one, it will not work, good try though.
Yes you should still keep the perm banned players who have proven to not change banned. But unban those who are waiting out bans and are eventually going to have another chance; this will just shorten that time. It would give them a chance, those people and the others who haven't proven that they can’t change could all be unbanned and i think it can help mineverse. Also if a player is false banned but cant prove their false ban this can be a relief to them: FYI I’m not arguing for this because I’m banned myself, I’m only banned on infection for 29 days and I play the other ganemodes more then infection .
If a player believes a ban is false they can appeal. If a player has been perm banned they can appeal valid bans and get unbanned as I said above. This will not do much to help people who are banned invalidly or perm banned validly (and allowed to appeal) as they can simply make an appeal, if they want to be unbanned all they need to do is take a few minutes to make an appeal. The only thing this would "help" is people who should not be unbanned, aka those with valid temp bans and those with valid perm bans that should not be unbanned. We have probably well over 20k alts banned for ban evasion and such, sure doing a mass unban would "help" players who can appeal by saving them the 5 minutes it takes to write an appeal, but it would do a lot more harm then good, as we would be unbanning a mass amount of alts banned for leaking, ban evasion, ect, and allowing banned players to use them again. (I know these banned alts are used because I can see when a banned player logs on, not all of them are just random non rank's either, by doing a mass unban we could be allowing validly banned players who we do not want back to come back on the server with an alt that could have a better rank then their main did.)
