basically if you've upgraded from premium to sponsor and sponsor to vip, so on, you should have access to your previous kits as you have spent money on them, where as if you've brought straight to god you only have access to that kit, giving you more motivation to upgrade rather than just buying straight to the top.

I don't see what you're getting at with this idea sorry.
When you upgrade it costs the exact same amount of money as it would've if you bought your desired rank straight away. For an example if you wanted to get to god rank but you only have money for Elite as of right now then you'd spend 25$ on Elite. If you were to upgrade to God after a little while you'd only be paying 25$ for the upgrade and not the full 50$ it costs from Trainee --> God.

Therefore there should not be any benefits to upgrading as it doesn't have any disadvantage.

You're paying to upgrade to a higher rank I'd assume for the kit and partial commands. Why would having access to a rank you physically upgraded from be reasonable at all. I'm sorry but I don't know why this would be a good implement. No support.

Support. It adds balance to the idea that if you could buy the first rank then use its kit and keep upgrading until you get Titan rather than buying Titan directly. There's no way to fairly prevent this, so in my opinion having it balanced is a better idea. I'd also like to mention it gives the opportunity to make the shop much tidier. You could include "Perks from previous ranks" rather than re-listing them on each instance, better yet a chart would be much handier.

I do not support for the reasons above but they're some players so have access to all the kits on Skyblock and they aren't suppose to have access to those.

I think all kits should be nerfed then implement this, like I previously mentioned it adds balance. There is a benefit to upgrading rather than outright buying a higher rank and I have already mentioned it. Several players also choose to buy ranks without checking what they get and would generally assume they get access to previous rank kits, as that's the way it is on most other networks (and there's a reason why they do it that way). Just a minor dose of logic and common sense lmao

I'm gonna be honest you what server does that?most of the servers I've played in the past that have had kits never give you previous kit access as just for example if they did this on skyblock, the grass and iron you could get would be super overpowered and it's not a good idea to "nerf" them all.. you'd get complaints about not getting what you paid for. I see all of your ideas but I think you need to put more process on the thought of what a good idea may do and what may benefit and not benefit the server.
Anyways no support, seems obvious that this would be too op.

I can't advertise, but if you message me on Discord, I'll be happy to tell you a list of popular servers that do that. Also, it doesn't matter how op or not op anything is, considering there is no competition on SkyBlock. It doesn't matter how long it takes you to get there, it isn't getting reset and there's poor prizes (if any) for those with the top islands, given that if the kits were nerfed and this was taken into place, basically every kit except premium would basically remain the same anyhow. Having premium receive 2 less grass or sand would make such an insignificant difference. I also don't think people would be concerned over not getting what they paid for, for the price of $2.5. As for kitpvp and oppvp, it barely matters. People on there will always wait until they can fill their inventories with the best armor they can possibly get. Yes, you could potentially use kits whilst in combat to essentially get "extra inventory room" however disabling the use of kits whilst in combat would fix that. Sorry if you don't understand what I'm saying, I've made it as clear as I know how.

I get what you're saying but I still don't agree with your ideas to do it and I don't see it happening.
