I've used it a few times before and it really does a good job, but that's just my personal experience.
No support Honestly, the hackers are very blatant, especially on infection. The only circumstance where SS would apply is on KitPvP and OPPvP. (Rarely)
I think I do, as you most likely do not have any experience doing this compared to me. As being a moderator on many servers where they enforced the rule of SS'ing, I had to do this many times. Especially in the competitive factions community. For Mineverse however, this is not needed at all. It's violating user's privacy. I don't think anyone wants anyone having access to your computer and your files. It's just not needed for a block game. The problem with screensharing is that it is not fool-proof meaning that people can still hide their clients relatively easily, so it just wouldn't work. Having a strong anti-cheat and active moderators will do good on mineverse, as once again, hackers on mineverse are really blatant, especially on infection. What Julia says here is true as well.
6 years on OP and you can clearly tell at least 70% of the active player base at any time has closet cheated. Hell if someone has a constant decent reach they're likely hacking as the anti-cheat is too strict that even normal reach of 3 blocks is rare, especially with the servers notoriously bad hit detection. ----------------------------------------------- Support. All you have to do in an ss is press a few buttons on your keyboard and do a quick search in their minecraft folder(Most servers only search that folder) unless you're looking for strings yourself. There is 0 chance of them getting any personal information unless your background or file names have them on display. And ss tools like Paladin are pointless. I've tested it a few times and it's never caught me cheating and it constantly gives out false reports of cheating when someone actually isn't. Having a mods folder with forge can get you banned on servers with ss tools.
