The map is located in a candy world and that's about it It was made in 2017 by SpiderVenom when she was still on the mv build team The map consists of 4 team islands and one middle island (soon mini islands) Each team island has 1 brick, iron and gold generator The middle has no generators Map Notes Feel free to you leave any suggestions on what to add/edit/delete if you have any I am 100% aware that bedwars is no longer a gamemode on mineverse, but I'll leave this here in case it gets added back
looks good, bad design, im one of the top bedwars players on a server with 70,000+ players if you want help with spacing, gen placement, etc

its far superior in every way but okay, if you can name 3 ways mv bedwars is better i'll switch to support
who's to say what is more fun? it's opinion based which one you may find more interesting to play but personally I did not find that one fun at all. It's overpowered and gives too much to you.
when everyone is op, noone is. its balanced and works very well, a more skilled player will always beat a less skilled one because they know what to do with the large amount of things they have at their disposal. When neither player has many items its more reliant on luck than skill because there are fewer ways to play the game, and therefore its easier for a less skilled player to master. Anyway enough pretentious paragraphs, time for toxicity. If mv bedwars is more enjoyable why did it get removed for lack of players? And if the other bedwars isnt enjoyable why does it have 5000 concurrent players?
I love it a lot too. Both functional and beautiful. Would be a great addition to the 10 already existing maps. Anything you think could be improved though? As mentioned at the bottom of this msg we'll probably add mini-islands, so anything other than that? Or are you against mini-islands? All distances, sizes and generators? So generator-wise, I think I'll keep it how it is. All maps used to have 3 generators on the main islands, except for the windmill-themed maps (they had gold in the middle). I'm open for input if you just want them moved and placed somewhere else on the main islands though And the reason the main islands are so far apart is to prevent players from being able to enderpearl directly to another team's island. Unlike lagpickle, it was easy to obtain enderpearls on mineverse bedwars. I spoke with Prim and Spider like idk a week ago and we're most likely going to add mini islands (4 islands close to mid to make it less empty. Less bridging essentially) I had 3k wins on mineverse bedwars and I currently have 1k on the new, mainstream one. Both versions have their ups and downs, but I don't think this map in particular has anything to do with that. It is very much about preference and I personally prefer mineverse's version. To me, it's kind of like OP PvP compared to Kit PvP ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
i see, this layout would make more sense if pearls are cheap, and you're absolutely right about needing some smaller islands between, many people cant speed bridge and would spend upwards of 30 seconds getting between 2 islands, which is obviously not ideal and would likely make attacking at all in the early game a losing strategy.
