I will be ranking all Infection maps that have ever existed in 5 tiers: S, A, B, C & D with S being the highest and D being the lowest. This tier list is for the maps when they were first added and does not include any changes made by developers after the map release. An updated thread may be made when more maps are added. S - Nether, Rust, Hijacked, Forest, Nuketown, Mineshaft, Halloween, Towers A - Caves, Biomes B - Temple, Jungle, Desert, Rivers, Metropolis, Carnival C - Coastalcliff, Winter, 1688, Outbreak, D - Cherokee, Argentan, Dragonland, Cliff, Azteca, Aurelis, Overgrowth This is just my opinion, reply with your tier list below.
Did Noob forget to add Metroplis back in? https://www.mineverse.com/threads/infection-metropolis-modern-style-map-added.65462/
What's your criteria that constitutes it being the "highest" or it being the "lowest" tier? - Favorable to zombies/humans? (I'd go for the former) - Size of the map? - Whether humans are able to exploit the borders of the map? - "Campable" spots that require a parkour? Right now the list seems pretty out-of-place, if I would put it nicely. Halloween is clearly and indisputably one of the largest pains for zombies once humans start camping (1 person to a spot and not everyone crowded there). Yet it's up at S. Temple is an excellent map for zombies yet it's at B. Dragonland is a balanced map (though slightly biased to humans) IMO that doesn't deserve a D rank. Just my 2 cents. I hadn't factored in zombies at high prestiges who, of course, would easily take out humans in cobwebs.
Yeah that makes a lot of sense. I would keep my other ones there but I do feel like I might be a bit clouded from nostalgia in halloween map because it's been so long. If it was added back it would probably be pretty low since it's too human based.
by the looks of it, all the maps that you rated low are maps where humans can easily win, and if that's the case, then I think that you should move 1688 to D as well, also i think that desert should be a D
