This is a follow up thread on my last posts about Mineverse's status: https://www.mineverse.com/threads/a...se-owners-you-might-want-to-read-this.143703/ https://www.mineverse.com/threads/congratulations-mineverse-is-making-a-comeback.146383/ I will be discussing Mineverse's current popularity and what the future might be for the server. Since the last posts, there are more stats available about the server. This week, Mineverse reached a peak of 144 players. This is extremely good compared to last year when we would struggle to get 60 at peak times. The google trends page also shows that Mineverse has been searched the most it has been for a whole year. This shows that a new wave of people are joining or it could be the older players returning. What is causing this? Minecraft as a whole has been growing again after about 3 years of decay and this is bringing new and old players to the server. Additionally, Infection has been announced to return on August 31st and this will bring back many players looking for an infection server as the ones available now are very few and are very hard to find. Let's hope that with the coming of infection this will be the second golden age of Mineverse where we get thousands of players on at a time. Minecraft is still growing and isn't nearly as popular as it had been in 2013 & 2014 so we will still see player numbers rise. As long as Minecraft keeps growing, there is hope that this server will gain its former glory. Before I end this I will leave you all with a few images from Infection on March 8th 2014, taken during the golden age of Mineverse to remind you of the good old days. (There are 90 people just on infection at peak hours in these images) Video Credit: (Not my video)
It might get delayed a couple of days since they don't have much active staff, but it'll still be soon anyway..
I mean it could still have a delay, like the 2 hour delay when factions released. I doubt it will though as infection seems more important.
I don't think so because noobcrew has been planning it since the start of the year. Everything is probably ready to be released straight away.
When crew sets a date he makes damn sure to make it, no matter how much rushing he has to do to make it. Infection will release.
Hopefully they make the map walls higher so people don't shift on bedrock edges or you know... jump to a whole different map itself
Actually Staff and Admins have been on constantly testing out infection and working out bugs for you guys so maybe show a bit of appreciation that Infection is coming back.
the big deal is gonna be if there's gonna be any bugs after they release it, which was the case for every other reset mv has done
