What in the actual [insert swear] is inventory c? Was I banned for, according to this anti cheat, clearing my inventory? Can a staff member please explain this to me, as I've been kicked for it in the past, and I am not sure what this is referring to?
Eh first thing that comes to my mind would be some Auto Steal hack, maybe caused by trying to use the anvil too fast? Never seen this before so I could be wrong sorry.
Without knowing too much about it, I'm pretty sure the C stands for cheats. So "inventory cheats". Examples are unnatural inventory movement (inventory click events without having your inventory open) and trying to take items out of GUIs. I don't see hackers get banned for this a lot and from my experience and tests this seems to mostly affect people using clients above 1.8. The triggers I found before are opening interfaces or simply attempting to move items inside your inventory Since you play survival a lot, it wouldn't surprise me if you were on 1.12. Am I correct ;)
I don't think there is an option to make the anti-cheat ban for specific offences and kick for others. When crew made it ban instead of kick, he disabled hover completely. I'd assume he'd have to do the same for inv c ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ EDIT: I'll also add that the reason why it affects 1.12+ clients is because the anticheat and sever is 1.8. So yes blame viaversion
‘C’ doesn’t stand for cheats. It’s inventory check C, which bans because we know it very rarely false bans
ares, you were sucking *insert my picture signature*. on a more real note, my assumption is that because of the new 1.12-1.14 chest mechanics you did an oopsie and used a function that the anticheat doesn't know exist, giving it the intention that you art cheatith.
bro it was like 2016 or something. i was going to change it but it still makes me laugh every time i read it, and now as i get older i realize how true it is xD
