I find that often their obvious hackers are able to hack easily for extended periods of time due to the fact that there aren't enough moderators patroling the Mineverse servers. I think that more active moderators should be hired to make it easier for staff members to manage the hacker problem on PvP servers like kit PvP and op PvP. Basically, we need more active staff.
We promote around every 3 months when there are good applicants. We can't just "triple our numbers" when we don't have enough applicants. Moving as this isn't really the correct place.

I believe that your team should still be able to have 1 staff member on Mineverse at most or optimally all times You wouldn't necessarily need to double your staff member count overnight.
30 players on oppvp daily, 1 mod might come on for 30 mins out of the entire day. we need more *active* staff
the reason you have no applicants is because mv is extremely toxic, even acceptation (one of the best active mods of 2018) is toxic in comparison to most other staff, if i were a mod I'd be online 12 hours a day, there would be practically no blatant hackers, but i've always been too toxic so i'd never get accepted
i agree with porky rn, if this server hits 200 then you need more staff. anyway the only people who are applying are the ones who left for 6 months and came back to apply to "do something good for the server."
Mineverse may have a low player count right now but we barely ever have mods online unless we summon them. players are almost certainly getting driven away by Mineverse cheaters and solving this problem is essential to increasing the server pop. Another solution other than hiring more staff is getting the current staff to be more active. A good goal to start with aim is 1 or more staff online at least 70% of the time primarily during peak hours.
in comparison to when the server was at its peak (1k) that was when we had more staff members (almost double from this) I don’t think there will be any need for more staff members soon.
^ @Porky, his point is that we need more ACTIVE staff members, not more in general I agree with this thread. When half the staff team is absent because of school, vacation or other personal reasons, we need new, active people to take over. There are plenty of good applicants to choose from
Support. I see normal players more active than staff. I know they have their own lives but at peak times on OP PvP and Kit PvP it gets chaotic and there are a lot of hackers online and the only way to get a mod on is to go on discord.
On OP you can go 8-12 hours without seeing a mod. When one finally logs on it's only for 1-2 minutes, or 3-4 mods log on at once and stay for about 10 minutes.

It's pretty obvious that some staff aren't working to their full potential so it would be nice to have some more active staff that can be on when the other staff can't be on (know that sounds rude but it's the truth)
