Global /helpme (aka /helpop)

in russia, you dont do /staff. /staff types you

 

technically, we could use /helpop for this now since we've abandoned /helpop for a custom staff chat (fyi)

/helpop can be used to the public now?

 

/helpop is obviously not GLOBAL like you wanted, but you could certainly set it up so everyone can SEND a helpop message and only let staff READ them. This would, of course, be gamemode specific and not what you suggested originally

 

it's been so long that i've had this open that I didn't even remember it was global

I can definitely agree with your 50 second cooldown, just my only issue with that is the possibility of spamming it EVERY 50 seconds by a normal player or a bot - I'm sure it would get annoying for the staff members.

Also, it's only called /helpme since /helpop is already a plugin itself on the server. Of course, if it got removed, then /helpop would be the better name.

Support. Another way to prevent abuse is to simply remove a players ability to use the command if they just spam it for no reason.

 

Support. its hard to find staff when you need them sometimes.

Support, makes it easier to get help from staff members when you're dealing with a hacker or so.
