As a frequent Skyblock player, I see many people in the chat spamming, swearing, talking rudely, etc. I have reported several people, yet it takes time away from my gameplay experience, that most of the time, I just don't bother. Seeing this issue, I thought of an idea that would benefit the toxicity and cleanliness of the chat. As many other servers have a /report feature, I don't see why Mineverse shouldn't. Rather than going to the forums, uploading a screenshot, and adding all of the info, the players, do /report (username) and it reports it to staff to see what that user said. This would be a much faster and more efficient method of doing it.

I feel like so many people get away with things such as spamming, swearing, talking rudely because players don't want to take 5-10 minutes out of their life to get someone warned or temp banned. This would save loads of time and help crack down on people who blatantly abuse the rules. I hope you take this into consideration. Would love to hear your comments/feedback. as for the actual command, i feel like /report should have a cooldown and should just be an alert for mods so they know to hop on that gamemode and keep their eyes on that player.

 

This sounds great honestly. Chat messages generated from /report can't be forged/faked either

Support. Been on a server in the past with this feature and works wonderful even though it takes a bit to have action taken place. But if this is added make sure EVERYONE can use the command as the other server only let highest rank players use the command. (Not saying to name out of respect for MV)
