Not to be a negative Nancy, but I don’t see the point of this imo and I’ll explain. https://www.mineverse.com/threads/4-19-2018-new-twitter.140500/ We already had a Twitter and we see how well that went. This didn’t produce any publicity for the server and was inactive, only posting half the time for promotions. The majority of people who will be viewing these social media accounts will be people who already know the server, and if you’re trying to use this for publicity, then you’re not reaching out to anyone. I don’t think people will be wanting to share an account that just posts Minecraft screenshots. On the other hand, if you’re just using this to share new things and “fun stuff”, then you should probably be coming up with more ideas of server events and improvements. Mineverse in general is already heavily lacking in updates and doesn’t have any form of weekly events or anything “fun” (except for the monthly competitions, and those don’t garner too many people anyways). Many have requested new ideas, game modes, and updates, but have just been ignored, and having an Instagram or Twitter that posts “fun stuff” to people that have been waiting for a long time for genuine fixes and improvements won’t help (as far as I see). If you do have a decent plan of things to post (and I doubt you do as you used the term “fun stuff”), then coolio, but don’t let it go inactive or be another distraction from helping out ingame or on the forums
There were only 1 or 2 people who had access to this, which meant it wasn't used often. The mods that run this can't do any of what you're saying should be done. I wouldn't agree with this either if anyone but moderators were running it.
Yes, but you also have, on this project, headmods that have more jurisdiction that can do other things and plenty of smart moderators (that have connections with the owner) that could start bringing up more ideas of their own and community made ones. Not to mention that you have an owner and 2 administrators ( ) that could be doing stuff on their own. I, in general, feel like social media stuff should be an end game project after you have a lot of your stuff sorted out. Like, weren’t there supposed to be a bunch of other “phases” for additions for the server, or is that not a thing anymore? There’s no point in trying to do this stuff (for old and new players alike) if many hate the condition of the server due to things that could be fixed but haven’t been and probably won’t be, just saying. I know the lower staff don’t have much power, but as a whole, this idea isn’t the greatest at all, just for right now at least.
