Hello and welcome to my re-application! My name is Vincent or William for those who have seen me in game, have spoken to me or both. I really do appreciate you clicking on my application and I hope you take the time to read all the way through.

Do you have the necessary means of capturing evidence? (i.e. recording software, screenshots, etc) Yes. I have a recorder called Screencast-o-matic which works like a charm. I also can take screenshots.

Why do you think you should become a mod? I feel like I can help out a lot on the server. It’s been a few years and I changed a lot. Make Mineverse a fun server without hackers and rule breakers. This server can use all the help it can get. Yes I was an animal years ago but I feel like I have matured enough for a position and help others out as much as I can. The more non toxic helpful staff the better the server to.

How long can you be active on the server everyday? Here is my schedule which could easily change as I will be applying for a part time job/full time job in real life as well:

Monday: 6 hours.
Tuesday: 6 hours.
Wednesday: 6 hours.
Thursday: 6 hours.
Friday: 7 hours.
Saturday: 7 hours.
Sunday: 5 hours.

Only times I can not be online are the following:
Monday: 5pm-8pm
Tuesday: 5pm-8pm
Wednesday: 5pm-8pm
Thursday: 5pm-8pm
Friday: Depends if something comes up
Saturday: Depends if something comes up
Sunday: Depends if something comes up

Please keep in mind this may change as my classes are changing every 9 weeks. Edited: I got hired for a job in real life as of today. I may not be on in game or on forums late at night since I got hired as a closer. I start 5pm to 9pm tonight. Some nights I will start at 5pm and end at 1am. Please keep this in mind that I may not be online as much as I would like to because of this.

How long have you been playing Mineverse? Since 2013-2014

Have you ever been banned in the past? (Forums & In-game) Never been banned on forums. In game? I’m not 100% sure. It’s been so long but recently no I have no been banned.

Do you have any past experience as a moderator? Kinda. Not on Mineverse/Minecraft but I have been mod in other things such as Discord servers. I know all the basic commands such as /ban /mute etc.


Do you meet all Mineverse's requirements for staff listed below?:

Resect:
Within the past 2 years I learned a lot about respect and how to treat others. Especially working a job. I listen to others and do not interrupt and try to help if someone needs it. Listen to their problem and help them solve it. If someone doesn’t show it back I still show them respect no matter how rude. Learned quickly respect gets you far with things, it's the key to a lot.

Caring:
I always try to help someone as best as I can. No matter how hard the problem may be. I listen and help as much as I can. If anyone needs someone to talk to as well I’m always willing to just sit and listen since we all need someone to rant to at times.

Strict:
After being a staff on Discord servers it was made very clear you can not be laid back. People broke the rules 24/7 and not going to lie but it really bothered me since rules are there for a reason and are expected to be followed at all times. Really doesn’t matter who you are as a person rules are still rules. I try my best to report and if I’m unsure of something myself or need someones opinion on a situation I’ll go to a staff and speak to them in private about it. Get another persons opinion and what I should do next.

If you read through my entire app I really do appreciate it. Means a lot you took the time out of your day to read all the way through. Especially if you put your own opinion in a comment or thoughts on my application. This did take a while to make so again thank you it means a ton. Why did you remake your mod app?

 

Fresh start I guess. Can't really explain to be honest. Just felt like I really needed to redo the entire thing and start from square one.

I support his application. Every time I see him on skyblock, he puts lots of effort and attention towards the new as well as inexperienced skyblock players. He does his best to answer other's questions and genuinely cares about the people playing skyblock

From my experience you would make a pretty good moderator. However, you've closed your application to take a small break and then come back and re-apply within the same month.

If you took a break to come back only 14 days later and re-apply it shows that there is a lack of dedication or you aren't able to handle certain situations properly.

What happens when you're moderator? if you're too overwhelmed or stressed are you going to take a break and resign?

When you're moderator there is a lot of hate that comes with the position, a lot of threats, and a lot of drama that could occur. You have to be able to deal with that straight up instead of trying to avoid it or take a break or try to get a fresh start. I know you do not like "drama" from your posts on other moderator applications so how am I suppose to believe you won't be able to handle the drama that gets thrown at you when you're a moderator.

The reason I closed my old app was because I felt like there was a need to start from square one with it. And if I have to be blunt here I will be don't wish to get into details since some of it is private. I felt like if I did make it during promos (Which I highly doubt I would have.) I wished not to make it into that group of new mods. I'll just leave it at in real life issues with school, family and friends. I didn't want to bite off more than I could chew. If that makes sense. (I hope it does.) I would also never resign from staff due to stupid issues in real life. Once I have the job I have it and I expect myself to complete it. I would never let the community down like that.

I know what it is like to be stressed while having a job. If I was mod and stress hit me it wouldn't be from in game stress it would be from in real life. I actually come on MV as a way to escape that in real life stress temporally and helping out the community helps me feel better and relax. That may sound odd but whatever. In a nutshell helping out others in game or just other people in real life is a way I deal with stress when it comes from school, family or certain friends I have.

I understand where you are coming from with the drama part, threats and etc when it comes with being a mod. I have seen a lot happen within the game and have had people attack me. I normally brush it off, act professional, stay polite and do what I normally do. If rules are broken I simply just report what is needed to be addressed and let staff handle it from there on out. I don't let drama get the best of me especially in game. I can handle threats since they don't bother me. I'm very much used of them through experience with being a mod on Discord servers and in real life.
