In my full opinion, I think it's time Mineverse finally added back Admins/admin and I think that should be @Quertiss, it's going to be crazy this summer with all the cheaters and all the people joining and the last time we had admins was when Pile first got promoted to moderator, what do you guys think it's time for Noob to promote either @Janice999 or @Quertiss.
Heyo! I wasn't around back when Mineverse actually had administrators, but I do like the sound of this. I'm going to give you support, because it will be hectic this summer with Mineverse cheaters and such. So, if Quertiss or Janice get an administrator rank, there will be more commands, right? I believe H-Mod has a bunch of commands that administrator ranks will have too. Ehm, not sure, but once again, support.
So why not add more commands to the Admin roll and promote one of the head mods? Doesn't it seem like a good idea?
As much as I would love the Head-Mods to become an administrator and gain a promotion, it's all really down to them if they actually want to take on the role. As an admin, it is basically a developer so it's unsure if the Head-Mods even know what to do with all sorts of commands which wouldn't exactly help. If they know what they're doing then I say yeah go ahead if they're up for it, but if they don't just recruit someone who knows what they're doing.
@Accept brought up a good point, it all depends if the H-Mods are really up for it. This will take time, and yes, admin is like a developer. The H-Mods have to put a lot of effort into admin, but hopefully, if the admin rank does get added back I'd like to see some promotions!
Admin != Moderator I think if this were to happen it should be done outside of the public sphere, and be kept to a private selection kinda-thing only. No applications and promotions, otherwise that might spawn the wrong impressions. Instead, just a low-key selection process that's "hey, u wanna help out more?". I don't think this requires any changes to the current system, I feel it would have been done already if the current admins deemed it necessary.
admins code and know how to fix crap, head mods keep us idiots in line and decide on harsher punishments such as perm bans
The current hmods can't handle a developer rank so making them have it would be dumb matt is our admin and hes fine. do we really need an admin? we have enough mods who think they're admins so its fine lool
With respect, there is not going to be another Administrator, at least for a long time. There is no person that is going to administrate for free. I did administrate for free. I left because I had been offered to be paid for the large reset in September but was not. I had given a lot of time with helping in it, and I thought it was a sign of disrespect, so I packed my bags. Besides, an administrator who does not have access to the backend servers is not really an administrator but rather an overglorified head moderator. I didn't even mention the trust factor. You cannot just give any random person administrator. You need to build up trust with an individual.
clearly you weren't very trustworthy. mhm odd how u r admin on /staff plus u do most things that crew doesnt <_>
