Turtlekeeper22's Moderator Application! Introduction: Hello, you might know me from the past as Kennethmm30 or from the present as Turtlekeeper22, but I have always been passionate about helping people; hence, why I wish to become a Doctor. I have always wanted to be a moderator when I was younger; however, I was not very mature back then. I feel I've definitely grown over the years and gained a passion for helping others in as many ways possible. I have been playing Mineverse since 2014 and hope you all see me fit as a future Moderator! Currently I enjoy playing Skyblock, KitPvP, and OpPvp the most! Thank you so much! Your in-game name: TurtleKeeper22. What timezone are you in? Eastern Standard Timezone. What country do you live in? United States of America. What languages do you speak? German, English, a fair amount of Spanish, and I could google translate the rest if needed. Do you have the necessary means of capturing evidence? I have screen recording software and screenshot capability. Why do you think you should become a mod? Well I am an active player I always try to help everyone as much as possible and strongly believe in respect and to treat others how you would like to be treated. I would like to make sure that the Mineverse community grows and is safe from abusers and people who try to ruin the game for others. I also see that many other servers are usually not visited by moderators as much and I would like to help improve that, while also maintaining the amount of attention PvP servers need. Furthermore, players that just wish to disrupt the Mineverse community is what deters new players and server growth. Therefore, with more moderators I believe we would be able to help Mineverse grow and flourish to the server it once was. How long can you be active on the server everyday? Typically 1-3 Hours a day during the week and 2-5 on the weekend. How long have you been playing Mineverse? About 3.5 years joined in 2014 but took a break for about two years due to family matters and school. Have you ever been banned in the past? (Forums & In-game) Yes, I was banned from Skyblock a few years ago since I auctioned a "Head" which was given to me and I did not know it was not allowed at the time. Do you have any past experience as a moderator? Unfortunately no, but I do try to help people around me as much as possible! I also feel as though having less experience allows for one to work harder and introduce new prospectives to the community and staff team. Do you meet all Mineverse's requirements for staff listed below? Yes. Do you have 50 Post Count? Yes. Do you have Two Factor Authentication set up? Yes. Have you had 2 Weeks registered on the Mineverse forums? Definitely yes! Do you have Skype and Discord for offline communication? Yes I have both. Thank you for reading!
You've got my support. I see you a ton in game and you're an extremely kind and helpful person, wish you the best of luck.
Turtlekeeper22 has been an active member of Mineverse and is a friendly person. He would be a great choice for a moderator.
TurtleKeeper22 is a fair, trustworthy, and intelligent minecrafter. Online quite frequently and helps make the server a better place. Great for new players and also knows the game well enough to know when something is suspicious and may need to be reported. Turtlekeeper22 is trustworthy amongst all players and not toxic this longtime player on this server would be a great fit for a mod. Fully approve TurtleKeeper22 for Mod.
Hey Eric Stellar, Just because you're app isn't getting great comments doesn't mean you gotta bring down somebody else's app. My comment is real and I stand by it.
You just came back to the forums and immediately announced that you were applying for mod and basically asked for supports, and this is definitely not the way to go about a sudden return. As I don’t play in-game anymore, your activity has to be proven through the other methods, the other main outlet being the forums. Seeing as you’ve just returned after 3 years, have no reports out, and have not even really posted or anything before rushing out an application, this will be my basis to not support you. You’re expected to be active in both parts of the server, forums and in-game, so I expect your in-game activity to be shown through your forums activity. Seeing as you have no moderation experience and no recent reports or postings, prove that you’ll be a good moderator through activity, helpfulness, and reports via the forums and I’ll reconsider. Also, just to help you out, don’t tag the mods like you did in your application.
@SniffMyToes I see where your coming from I have not been super active on forums recently since my return. I have made a few reports through directly contacting a mod and sending evidence. Also I have been actively playing in game for the past couple months. Thanks for the advice and I will continue to be more active on the forums.
No support, seems like the type of mod that doesnt know/ understand most pvp hacks (well most mods dont). Well this is just an assumption so if you can prove me wrong you got my support
You’re getting defensive over questions, if I were you, I’d address the questions calmly instead of making this seem like an interrogation scene from a dramatic movie. I’ll be switching from support to non supportive until you fix that issue
@Eric Stellar I wasn't trying to sound defensive, but he made an assumption that I didn't understand something. So I asked the question to clarify what he meant. By doing so I could either learn how to improve or show him that I do understand the material he believed was crucial in a moderator. However, I am sorry if it seemed defensive, because that was not my intension. Thank you for the advice and good luck to yourself on the moderator applications.
