this was put in to help combat people running away very easily with pearls. if pvp logger was removed then anyone could just log out in a fight to prevent themselves from dying, hence why it was implemented.
Sure, of course they can log out but people who are just messing around, theyre internet cuts out and they die? not fair. Happens more often now than people just actually pvp logging. It's just creating more mess
You're missing the point. The whole point is that people are dying unfairly and losing their stuff. You shouldnt just DIE if your internet cuts out, It's an unfair shot.
yes but it's a much smaller problem compared to what the other option is. While dying due to lag sucks it doesn't happen that often and it's much better then never being able to fight / kill anyone because they just log out before they die.
