Although people we're very excited and hyped for the reset, @Noobcrew your Map decision was [non mc friendly word edited out]. No cap. Don't even get me started with this new and improved Anti-Cheat. It's crap and it always has, Even 5 years ago when Mineverse was the go to server! It still has bypasses and hackers. Mineverse initiates these Mods that have to jump through hoops to get their position but aren't even aware on if a person is hacking or not. They should clearly be aware if someone is breaking the rules. we could all agree that Minecraft itself is dying and so is Mineverse. Just a little message Noobcrew announced -Improved AntiCheat to help reduce false positives & be more aware of actual hackers. False kicks may still happen, but letting us know your kick msg will help us improve this You're saying that every time a player gets kicked for ( ex. Fly (Hacking) ) that we should complain in chat or make a forum post about it? It's not like any of the mods have any true reason for the kick in the first place. I play OP PVP, More importantly what is the damn reason for a Bartender, Crystals, Or even custom enchants? I thought i was playing PVP on Minecraft, Not World of Warcraft. Another Message from NoobCrew - New space themed 500x500 This new space themed map has been the death of me. Although it is space themed, the amount of holes, lava, mountains is ridiculous. It practically makes it impossible to chase anyone and confirm a kill. I didn't know i was playing Space Engineers. The Mineverse community isn't even good anymore, It's filled with 15 year old kids with auto clickers calling everyone "ez" and acting like some kind of Gangster. Personal thoughts : Did you really think releasing a Revamp/Reset was truly the best thing for Mineverse? P.S This isn't directed towards anyone other than NoobCrew. Make Mineverse great again. Support. The new map's are terrible. The old maps were even worse and 10x more plain, but was still better. Why not just get a real professional build team that can make things way more organized?
Can you just stop hating on what they did?!?? Nooncrew and his builder team worked hard on this, and you need to appreciate that...
Exactly, i'd rather have a downloaded map than a built hang built map that isn't even suited for PVP there is nothing to appreciate if it isn't even a good map.
Proud of what? I'm not going to lie but the map looks great but the real argument here is that it isn't up to PVP standards. You wouldn't know because i've never seen you on before.
Is it me or all of you only care about OP PvP, but have yet put the time in other servers to see how they are like. If you grind hard you could land a donor rank on factions, did you see that? KitPvP is a really beautiful map and most of you walk 5 feet and are lost lol..
Appreciate your feedback. Nothing wrong with speaking about how the new changes are, even if it's good/bad. I know the map wasn't exactly what everyone wanted as it is apparently too big. Though, I could have the current one edited to make it more flat. Or, I could ask to have a smaller version of it? Also, the AntiCheat for the first time in months as of late yesterday was updated to a different version, the developer was working on it for quite some time and allowed me to use it finally. From what i've seen it works a ton better. Plus it no longer always kicks you whether you're hacking or not, instead if tries to cancel the hack first. So disregard what I mentioned in the initial post as that's irrelevant now. And yes, I did think the revamp was going to be a good choice for MV and I was honestly expecting better results. The way a lot of things were before was outdated and not set up in the best way, this revamp i've spent a lot of hours and days trying to perfect everything and obviously there's still a lot I need to work on. Though just feel free to continue to let me know.
No one wants to grind on any other gamemode, OP PVP is the most popular. It's played the most and that what i personally enjoy. aswell as others. with OP PVP having the biggest player base on the server, they could atleast fix the Anti-Cheat and the map.
I feel like if there were more players around, the way the new maps could be experienced would probably be different. Right now with 10 players online and seeing no one, the size gives you a lost sort of feeling. As for KitPvP, the map is really great yet it's never seen more than 5 players. I'll be trying my best to get more advertising over the next couple months though there is only so much I can do.
Thankyou, Although i felt like i came off a bit to harsh. I was expecting something better, as well as you stated that you expected better results. Personally i could recommend on a straw poll. Create Map ideas and post it publicly for better expectations and results. <3
And as i said. Minecraft is dying, and that isn't your fault. There is just less player base to go around.
I feel like what most of the problems are is that it's not flat enough (which can be fixed somewhat easy with a world edit brush) and it not having enough remember-able trademarks like the old map. (On the old map you had things like the club, and remember-able houses). Another thing people are looking for is to have the insides of some of the buildings on the map accessible. (This is all what I've gathered from rants and such other than just making an entirely new map or going back to the old one)
I could add that the theme is great but it's just so forced onto me as a player, A flatter, smaller, and a different spawn could be very benfitial. @Noobcrew Yes, i honestly wouldn't have any problem with that, but throw a little kick into it ;)
We dont need to appreciate something someone did lol, we can take it but its not a death sentence to not like something
the server doesn't revolve around OP PvP as much as you think, there are multiple other game modes that are active and have greatly benefitted from this update. I know your thread focuses on OP PvP but what I'm trying to say is that is update isn't all bad, but I understand why you'd want changes on OP
