Correct. That is a defense I thought of awhile ago too.

Another one is that the definition of being wet is that something is entirely covered in water molecules. A water molecule, on average*, is entirely covered by water molecules. Thus each molecule is wet, and contributes to give the droplet of water a general degree of wetness.

*The reason I say on average is that the water molecules on the outside are not entirely covered.
