OP PvP Re-add Disable Dropping at Spawn.

it's super annoying to have people drop stuff into your inventory I think you shouldnt be able to drop stuff at spawn this may be a glitch tho.. if so just accept it.

 

The safest and easiest way to sell items is at spawn, no support.
Plus, you're talking about items from kits that are dropped if the user doesn't have enough inventory space. This still happened even with disabled drops (since it's for people pressing their drop key).

 

What do you mean? Thats what chests are for. People spam items and drop them this isnt kits they recently added it so you can drop items in the spawn region.

 

The simplest solution to all of this is to remove those useless kits that rack up too many items, such as arrows and potions.

Even with this rule in place, things still got crowded in your inventory from people doing things like /kit knight and not having enough inv space. All disabling item drops did was cause annoyance for everyone.

 

First off, those chests are not supposed to be your ideal trading option since anyone can access them at any point in time.
I'm going to use Q as the drop key in this example since it's the default key.
When you use a kit and you don't have enough inventory space to hold all the items from that kit, you automatically drop those items on the floor. This happened regardless of whether item drops was toggled on or off. What disabling item drops actually did was prevent you from using your drop key (Q in this case) and dropping an item manually. Your annoyance seems to stem from people using their kits (probably for pearls) and the leftover items that spilled onto the floor. which disabling item drops would not solve.
Tl;dr: Disabling item drops disables the drop key, not the automatic drop from a full inventory
