Um, so what about Infection? In this huge, "Epic" update, shouldn't you bring back Infection after it's been reset?

Will the old gamemodes not be supported anymore? By which I mean like opprison where it's still on but not on the main server selector and we won't do any bug fixes or anything. Because I like the idea of keeping them for nostalgia but unless we just keep them the same way they are nobody is going to want to go on the new ones cause of their stuff.

 

As much as I love Infection, there wouldn't be enough players to make it very sustainable... by sustainable I mean having enough players on the gamemode each day. I personally don't find it very fun when you're playing with only 10 others... let alone 5.

As already stated above, all current gamemodes will still be available but called something like "opold" or "op2."

... as for OP Prison, it's broken as is, and I don't see a point in keeping a legacy version for the current OP Prison.

 

Well yes, but I'm wondering if we will still handle things like pvs getting broke in support tickets and such like that. I feel that if we do people aren't really going to go play the new gamemodes as they have all their things on there and there's not much driving them away from them. It'd also be somewhat stupid for us to handle things on something that we don't really use anymore, as it'd be like xbox creating a new game for the older console.

Sounds like things are going well for you guys. I mean some teasing screenshots for the forum folk would be nice . I do miss old Prison though... the PvP there was amazing.

 

My suggestion would be bring back infection.

 

That's because the update killed the gamemode.

 

Infection should come back in this big reset. Many players have already stated they will come back to MV if it comes back. And yes, it might take some work to have it working properly, but it would be worth it. A friend brought me to MV, and Infection was the only reason I stayed.

I honestly loved the game mode so much and I remember just playing for hours a day on it and I think it would be amazing to see it come back sooner

 

Noobcrew does this update mean we are getting the old kit2 map back cause if we do I bet so many ppl will start Playing it again and Most ppl hate this map But Not being mean or anything but the Mods that build kit2 map are bad.. Please Does this mean we get kit2 map back?

The Infection plugin on MV is old and outdated (2014 last update), and there was players saying they would come back for just Infection on Minetime... They came back for a week and then left again... they're not part of the greater community.

 

Okay Noobcrew, just Infection was a huge reason I played Mineverse, and I know a ton of people that felt the same, do you have an estimate of when it will be back?

As long as I know Infection is coming back eventually I am excited!

 

I feel like it should be an item reset on oppvp idk though.
