Good. That’s the only thing that I was worried about. Also if we can ban the alt they would eventually get annoyed and stop breaking the rules.
I don't understand why people want to be lenient to cheaters and rule breakers, they make the server less appealing to legit players, thereby reducing the amount of players overall. Also I've seen a lot of people saying people shouldn't be allowed to bypass their punishment because they don't learn their lesson, which is completely irrelevant. The large majority of players don't learn anything from being punished, lessons are learned through experience and teaching, not through punishment. There are some players who cheat and get banned regularly even after years of getting banned, for example everam or extender. Being punished does not affect them in the slightest, the only way they will stop cheating is if you perm ban them.
Support. Read through some of this thread. Hackers can do it anyway, as has been said, they just come back with a VPN and carry on anyway. If they carry on breaking the rules then they will just be banned again, would happen with the rule or without. And also, I agree that having your main banned does feel like enough punishment, not my main point, but still one I agree with.
no lol He was forum banned because he was breaking the rules, I don't see how this is at all related to this being a bad suggestion.
Its a thread about bypassing bans you receive for breaking rules. I'm pretty sure he will attempt to bypass his forum ban.
I’m sticking with my support. What people need to realize is people are gonna do it anyways. It might up the player count. Also if we ban their main and they decide to break the rules again it’s not like we can’t ban them again. To the point that they decide to break the rules multiple times on alts they might get annoyed and just stick to following the rules. At first I was iffy on this suggestion but @i_am_youtuber made some amazing points so if your not sure what to do please read his points. Also banning a main is a punishment in its self. I honestly don’t think this is a bad idea. So again support.
Neutral, I feel like those who evade perm bans (and get caught) should be re-banned, as they obviously aren't really wanted on the network due to toxicity, previous offences, etc. But I guess the same applies to normally banned players as that's why they're banned too... but eh.
Again, why is that a bad thing regarding this thread? If he ban evades and breaks a rule the alt will obv be banned as stated before. Well if they break a rule while ban evading than they would get perm banned on that account. Why not? If this is about something like them not learning their lesson please read the previous replies on this thread. You can do that anyway lol, (you shouldn't tho) we'll ban the alts but the whole point chain is trying to make is that most people learn their lesson by just having one account banned, and those who don't can still ban evade pretty easy.
The ‘lesson’ of the ban is that you shouldn’t do what got you banned. If you’re going to alt and do it, you’re not learning a lesson which is what I’ve been trying to say.
Okay, so ban evading is supposed to be here because people need to suffer there consequences, by ban evading it means that they are refusing to accept the consequences that they deserve and what if these rule breakers simply don't care? We want to let them get on all there alts and breaking all the rules? What will be the point of even punishing if we know they can easily come back on a alt and do the same thing again...
Dude.. That is so wrong. You know for a fact there are many ranked players who cheat, and when they get banned they just cheat on an alt.
People hack on mineverse because they don't IP ban... why do you think there are so many hackers? Those are all peoples alts... No Support Also, there would be a hacker every minute. I've ran a server before, and I've had experience. There is a website called (Not going to say), you get alts every minute so hackers could just keep using that to ban evade lol. This is a clear reason on why this should not be supported.
