Perhaps the issue isn't so much a low player count because people can't ban evade but something else... hmmmmmm

I mean why not just allow hacks while you are at it then practically no one will get banned
Or even better... just don't get banned?

Neutral, maybe allow it for minor bans. Maybe not hacking so the hackers don't keep coming back. I think it will increase the player count

No support unless you have permission we cant allow ban evading it will allow hackers to come back and ruin the server again and most of us if not all don't want that.

But isnt that already happening by allowing the hackers to get banned only for 1 hour

You're missing the point, if people wish to hack they're going to hack, they obviously don't care about the rules (including the ban evading rule) if they wish to hack.

As chain said, for most people just having their main banned is enough.

It has been changed to one week.

If this gets implemented, you’d have to take out pretty much every single rule because they’d all be pointless

That makes absolutely no logical sense whatsoever.

By banning someone's main account, they will surely learn their lesson and behave on their alt. If they do not behave on their alt and have every intention to hack again then the chances are they have a lot of alts anyway, and will ban evade and hack as they please. When someone is like that, you don't request an IP check on every single alt you think they're hacking on, you just record them as they hack. Why? By the time you get an IP check done by a senior moderator you might as well have recorded and banned them anyway; it's faster.

I am living proof that this rule is utterly useless. I'm permanently IP banned from the lobby but I still stroll in-game on an alt whenever I feel like it and the staff team cannot do anything about it. Anyone who has enough alts to be a problem surely has access to a VPN.

    Sigh.

How does allowing one to ban evade mitigate the original ban? It doesn't.

The point of this isn't to belittle the original ban, but to get rid of a useless rule which is easily bypassed.

Does the fact that this rule essentially doesn't apply to me, mean that all of the other rules also shouldn't apply to me?

Since you told me to read previous comments and see why this should be a thing, well I'm still sticking with no support.

This would provide link to why I quit. What if you're wrong and people don't learn this lesson and the rule gets implemented? Does that mean that the server is turning into Minetime? I hate servers that allow hacks on the because there really isn't a point to them I guess, there isn't any skill required.

If people don't learn there lesson it will be constant hacking mayhem.

Well I just don’t think that this will work out. There really isn’t a point for rules if someone can just hop on an alt and keep playing.

For most people just having their main banned would be enough of a punishment, if they wish to continue breaking rules they're obviously going to do so, a simple "no ban evading" rule they wouldn't think twice about breaking.

This would increase the player count and give us mods a little less to worry about, if they break rules on the alt than it would obviously be banned.

I see your point back to a support, one question though if the alt breaks the rule would we be allowed to ban?
