Well.... 3 players (2 of them staff) quit, 2 of them for this soul reason (the ban system). It’s a little bit late to change back now...
Bruh I’m glad, I’d rather have a elytras then the anti cheat on survival. The anti cheat is mainly for combat and there is hardly any combat on survival so.
Thanks for the rollback in survival, it was a pain. Looking further to inform some issues, right now xray is the main problem in there.
There are a few anti-xray mods, but I don't quite know if we'd be able to implement them / if they'd work.
There was a really good one I saw where if the xrayer turned on his X-ray it would pretty much change every block to a random ore so you couldn’t see anything. Another one is make it so that any diamonds mind is shown in chat. For example I_Am_Dizzy found 8 diamond ore.
That could work, that sounds like a lot of the ones i've seen. For things like that it'd require us to have /spect on survival, which yknow could lead to things like abuse.
what do you mean? as a mod you can /invsee players and force tp under probable cause. I banned a lot of players like that back in the day. sadly no mods play survival on a regular... or hardly even plays.
True, I assumed the reason we don't have /spect is since abuse, could be another reason tho, the problem with force tping is they know you're there.
i mean if you don't trust who you promote not to abuse then don't promote. But all staff should have the proper tools to do what they need. Especially given a lot of people tend to be impatient when it comes to issues and will leave before it gets resolved... and that looks bad on a server.
a lot of servers are dead by now due to mini game servers taking the minecraft world by storm and just dominating, servers like these aren't doing too well also yeah this was far too late, you could've gone on a search for an anti-cheat sooner but i guess better than never amirite
Yesterday it got over 100 players online and well that doesn’t seem like a lot, a month ago you were lucky to have 20 players online soooo I guess it’s doing a bit better now lmao.
