Can you put the OP Prison server back on the Lobby navigator menu please? Now that it's working better it would be a shame to hide it. One more thing: Also I think the featherboard plugin needs a config file reload. It's showing default config. Also on topic of featherboard can you put the number of blocks mined on there and/or allow the /blocks command to show this info on demand.
No, support opprison was never used. no one ever played it and it was just bogging down the server making it slower. Do not add back opprison, No support.
"never" is a strong word, opprison still is played you know? Also saying "no one ever played it" people actually did play it and people still play it.
That is such a stupid argument. Op prison usually had more players than the regular prison, saying that it was bringing the server downwards is just really wrong. I obviously support this, OP Prison is just like every gamemode and it should be added to the navigator.
I agree extremely towards Ghost's counterargument against MidNightGaming's argument; it was very well explained. OP Prison is basically like any other gamemode, minus the popularity. Some gamemodes like OP PvP have many players logging on daily, but other small gamemodes, such as OP Prison, have just a small number. Even if OP Prison is not so popular, what matters is the few players that enjoy this gamemode and constantly log on to play. It might take space within the server, but the issue discussed here is not the space on the server, but just a tiny little area on the Lobby navigator. Really simple small area where players could be attracted to the gamemode and play. As of now, the Lobby navigator does have enough space to add any gamemode so why not add it if you can. MidNightGaming's argument, to sum it up, reflects on not popularizing the gamemode itself but to let it die. Thus, it could happen with one gamemode at a time, and then leave Mineverse with no one playing on the server. If someone like MidNightGaming does not realize how we can persuade people join different gamemodes by adding the feature in the Lobby navigator, then they should not be a guidance any decision maker should follow to maintain the server's popularity. That said, I support this suggestion without a doubt. I also support to adding the /blocks command to view the amount of blocks mined. Good luck! EDIT: It seems like this was already added to the menu - if you click "Prison" in the Lobby navigator, it will give the option between both Prison and OP Prison gamemodes. @xBMAN - Could you close this thread as accepted or what not since the idea has been implemented into the Lobby navigator.
Yes I see it is added as of today. Thank you to the mysterious admin responsible for fixing and those who supported it. Consider this resolved. The featherboard and/or /blocks command suggestion remains but was not the main focus of my request. I will likely make a new suggestion thread in a week or so about the scoreboard in case it's already on the list of things to do. For anyone who finds the generic scoreboard annoying you can disable the board by typing /featherboard toggle. The blocks mined is important to know because it gives you nice bonus at 100k 250k 500k and 1mil blocks. You should be aware of your count in some way as you need to keep some space free in your inventory to get the ultra keys or pickaxe bonus at the 100k 250k and 1mil milestones. For those who are curious 100k blocks mined: 500Mil, Omega pick, 1 enchant token 250k blocks mined: 1 billion, 1 ultra key, 2 enchant token 500k blocks mined: 25 billion, 1 ultra key, Lycaon pick, 3 enchant token 1Mil blocks mined: 50 Billion, 1 ultra key, Berserker Pickaxe, 5 enchant tokens 2Mil blocks mined: Nothing (Just the regular enchant tokens bonus every multiple of 50k) Not aware of any other milestones beyond 2mil. I was over 2 million before when database was corrupt and all players reset to 0. I'm back to over 2 mil again but it doesn't go up much as solid blocks do not count to blocks mined count when block fortune plugin is working. (One of the things that had previously been reported as a bug/glitch)
