Hello, This idea is based on the fact that if you cannot tell if someone is cheating or not, you /ss [name] and tell them to join either the discord or teamspeak. From then, you have the option to admit for a 14 day ban or if they don't admit you sharescreens to check for hacks. Any hacks found result in a 2 month ban. I highly recommend the moderator being trained in order to have the permission given to them. Any abuse results in a permanent ban for the moderator. Enjoy your day, Porky.
No support. The longer/shorter ban idea would suck, as people that get caught normally would get a different ban time which will just be confusing.
Ruminisque brings up an excellent point, which should be clear. Player's privacy is very important to the community and the staff team. For instance, I am someone that would not reveal any personal information about myself. If a staff member had suspected me for cheating (in this scenario I wasn't cheating), I would automatically decline the screenshare and go for the ban. Also, the formation needed for a staff member to fully understand how to screenshare and find a client sometimes hidden deep into the player's files can be complicated and long. The staff team will most likely not try and push all staff members to follow a formation in order to learn how to screenshare. Perhaps, a couple staff members, for example senior-mods, could follow a formation about screensharing. But, the problem with this will be the fact that these specific staff members may not be online, and without someone to screenshare, the player is left frozen for a solid 10 to 15 minutes and then frustrated for the time wasted. The idea is working on other servers, but in my opinion, should not be implemented on Mineverse. For those reasons, I cannot support your suggestion.
