Why do I need 2 Factor Authentication to be a Moderator?

I'm seriously wondering why I need this program. What does it do? Why would I need it as a moderator? Please tell me so I can know because my computer doesn't allow the link for the iOS version and I'm going crazy xD.

2FA is very important when you are applying for the Moderator Postition, This is essential because we deeply care that all of your Social Accounts are safe and secured so nobody could get hack them. This is important for your safety and the safety of the server as well, as we are given Moderator Permissions that if are used wrong could be very dangerous. If you are having trouble enabling 2FA on the forums, click HERE.
If you are having trouble enabling 2fa on other Social Accounts, a quick google search could help. I hope this helped explain why this is very important when applying.

Oh okay, I was just informed by you In-Game that you do not have a telephone number currently but you will get one? Okay if this is the issue simply follow the steps in the link I gave you over again. If this still seems to be a bit confusing, I believe you can just do it on your computer, but download the extension to Google Chrome, and this could help your problem. Just follow the steps listed on the guide. Click HERE, if you still need them.

soooo, i have the account and key, just dont know where to type it in. I may be nooby, but i am seriously confuzed XD @Skype

 

Well, if you have an account and the key everything is set up just need to enter it here.
Step 1: Go to the 2FA Menu found here. Go to where is says "Two-Factor Authentication" Bottom Left Hand Corner.

Step 2: Go to where is says "Add a New Key"

Step 3: Enter the code that you found on your Device.

The 2FA is only for this website, correct? If so, I have it.

 

Usually youd want 2FA on most things, including skype and discord (while it doesn't say it's a requirement it is)

I have it on all of my accounts that offer it because it makes it very very very hard to hack

You need both skype and discord, we don't really use ts anymore

They can not guarantee you can get accepted if you achieve these requirements, but if you start being active ingame, doing reports in game and making a decent application, I'm sure you will have a great chance!
