I'm KissMyBum, player of Kitpvp2, and honestly, I'm really about to quit this ing server. YOUR STAFF TEAM SUCKS. HONESTLY what the actual you have 30 staff members and not one is online. There are currently 4 hackers on kitpvp2 while I type this. 4, you guys got a new anti cheat and you still can' stop 4 people from bhopping, and 3 people from literally flying on op pvp. You guys ignore people's staff applications, when most of them are active people that just want to help and ban the hackers, but nooooo noobcrew just can't afford a decent ing anti cheat. i mean come on you guys charge $250 for titan rank on a dead server, where, you guys are lucky to hit 150 players, and you guys do nothing! Jesus I spam out on kitpvp2 and I get banned, but there are people hacking and they are totally ignored. YOUR SERVER IS GONNA DIE SOON open your eyes you idiots, your staff members are probably playing a good server known as hypixel, while your server can't even stop hackers. GOOD JOB MINEVERSE
I am kinda agreeing with you on this one. xBman is working on a new anti cheat that will detect Bhoppers, we just have to give it time. And... All those bhoppers are not random, its like 3 or 4 people that are ruining it for everyone, and I know some of them, and I think they should get an IP ban. But then they can go on a VPN, or they are probably on one while playing. But xBman is working on many things right now, and hopefully we will get rid of those annoying hackers that are ruining Mineverse for us.
I can assure you that @xBMAN is working and testing a lot of things to make the server we play on the best it can be. As for the Anti-Cheat I’m KitPvP 2, yes there are a lot of hackers that can easily by-pass it. As he stated though when he did implement it, he is simply TESTING the Anti-Cheat. Don’t worry he is trying his best to make the server the best.
Although this is basically a hate thread on this server, I gotta agree on this one. The staff are very inactive, even with there being a number of them. Like all the staff promised to be active in their applications, and they did a bunch of reports leading up to applying, but it seems I make more reports in a day than most of the moderators (each single moderator) handles. As you said, the server gets a lot of money from the purchases of ranks and other items on the store, but pretty much all of that goes straight into the owners' pockets, and none of it goes into the server for improvement. As many have stated, the owners are in it for the money at this point, and they don't care how the server goes. As you also said, the anticheat does absolutely nothing at this point. I've seen the same amount of hackers (possibly more) than before the anticheat was implemented, so obviously it does nothing. Although he is simply testing it and tweeking it, even with all the work he has put in so far, there has been no improvement whatsoever. If this anticheat won't do what it's supposed to do, hey maybe the moderation team should become more active and find the hackers themselves, or am I just being a lunatic thinking the moderation team should actually be doing what they signed up for? The moderation team could do with some improvement, as most of the moderators totally lied when they promised to be active on the server. As stated, there are many good applications that could be a big help to the team, but I guess they need to wait a minimum of 3 months to prove that they are worthy of the spot, because I guess the 75 supports doesn't show that? But yes, the staff team could do with a lot of work.
bruh. bruh. bruh. i meant that they can’t be on every single second of the day. that doesn’t mean they’re inactive.
Staff Members that do apply do know what they are getting there self's into. I do agree somewhat with Sniff but also Talia because Staff Members did sign up for this Job or Volunteer work. Some staff members are inactive but you have to realize they do not get payed for this. They also have other priorities outside of games. I think just Staff need to be a little more active but other wise than that, keep doing your job staff.
As I have stated in another thread, and as you have just stated, the staff literally signed up for what they're doing. I'll give you the same example I did in the other thread. Suppose you sign up to work at a soup kitchen all next week. Although you signed up, you won't be getting paid, you're just doing it to be nice. Then suppose do don't show up EVERY single day that week. You leave the people depending on that food hungry, other people who might've signed up have to take on more responsibility and work, so they suffer, and the whole community hates you. You have no right to be angry at the community for hating you, as you made a commitment that you didn't follow, so you shouldn't have made it at all. In reality, it truly is their faults. Although they have lives outside of minecraft, they made a commitment to do what they promised to do, and some put forth NO time whatsoever to doing their job.
The game-mode doesn't really matter. Just having a moderator online helps everyone, because they can be sought out and asked for help no matter where they are.
I'm not playing on the server anymore, but I'm very sure that the community doesn't expect the staff to be online every moment of the day. I just hopped on, checked the /staff list and there's three cases here. 1. Staff who are inactive for very long (tin15cro). I'm sure we can give the benefit of the doubt and say that he is busy, but oh well. This can't be happening all the time. 2. Staff who are generally quite active and do reports. These, I respect a lot. They literally carry the team's productivity level. These are the people who do reports and ban logs well. The staff team would really be at their same activity level and productivity level even if a select half of them leave the team. Why? Because there are a few who are still committed to this server, while the rest just hang on to a cliff edge. 3. Staff who get on every day or two for about 5-7 minutes, and then get off. Just so that /staff puts their activity as "Last seen (insert 'good' time) ago". I think you misunderstood the point of view of a few people here.
