I think this would be a good idea since the mineverse lobby is in space this would be a great texture pack.

Changing every item or block wouldn't be helpful. You can offer two resource packs to be downloaded. A standard one featuring different weapons skins (sword, bow, etc) and a more advanced one with blocks would be a more optimal solution.

 

I have made a video, the only reason it's a bit slow it is because of my slow laptop.
