Global How to revive Mineverse:

Hey everyone sooo, I'm an old Mineverse player and I hate to see this server die and fall.
All the suggestions I am going to speak about are already all suggested but I think it needs to be put into one larger thread to help bring the server up to how it was before, or even better..

So these are my suggestions:

• Switch to 1.7+, I know this is probably not going to happen, but Minecraft keeps upgrading when majority of its players are on 1.7-1.8
• 1.7 is the pvp gamemode, and well Mineverse has more pvp gamemodes than non pvp
• Get a GCheat auto ban, so all these forums reports are cut down and mods focus on being in game and not on forums, people can appeal if needed
• Make a trailer, and have people post it for ingame perks (as a reward , so a word goes out about the server
• Add a popular gamemode, which a lot of people play
• Right now, one of the top servers is HCF, which is hardcore factions, we already have Op, and normal, so why not add an HCF
• Have a ban reset so people come back

Not many people may agree with these, and you don't have to. These are all my opinions on what we as a community could do to help revive Mineverse, because it has died lol

*also don't mention anything about my youtube channel, and how I dont post anything about Mineverse to help grow the server, I barely upload anything as is*

 

@Janice999 has made a trailer months ago - there aren’t much forum reports - we have to upgrade to 1.12 as many players have complained about that.

 

A lot of things need to change in order to "revive" this server.

Sure, you post a good list and as we all know, major advertisement would play a huge factor. Just simply switching to a 1.7+ server wouldn't effectively bring people back.

 

So many different servers already have HCF. Pretty much all copies of each other, except for a few, like the one PainfulPvP owns. Mineverse hasn't added anything unique in a while, or put any effort into things lately. HCF would be a hype for 1-2 weeks probably. Oh, and trailers are overrated. People make a big deal out of it, especially on mcmarket, but it's not that great.

 

why not have 1.7 combat on kitpvp, oppvp and archerpvp cos those are the main 3 pvp servers and having it on something like prison isn't rlly necessary

also i don't agree w HCF, cos it's just going to get hype for a few weeks and die because it's not going to compete w other servers. Maybe when we get like more players we can do it.

1.7 on a 1.8 - 1.12.2 server has a horrible protocol for pvp, so no.

Getting an anti cheat isn’t easy, plus isn’t needed.

HCF on mineverse isn’t going to go well, we both know that.

Support on ban resets, since a lot of og’s are banned

 

Owners won't do anything so it doesn't matter. People can give all the ideas they want but the owners won't fix one thing.

 

mineverse has stage 4 terminal cancer it's too late

 

it doesnt matter if a new gamemode is added imo, it's hype for a couple of weeks with 100+ players on it then they start finding bugs, then said bugs dont get patched and the gamemode dies. skywars, skygrid, and archer pvp are great examples of this

All of these are great ideas, and could play a role to help.

It could. All ideas should be taken into consideration based on the popularity of the server now.

 

The hype of all this would last a week. Also mv won’t be able to get a decent anti cheat. The server gets like 100 players, so idk what you mean about popularity

I mean have you seen someone on kitpvp or op play on 1.12.2

So the reset survival post that has 170 replies and tons of support is in consideration? It's been up for months and nothing's happened so no I don't believe anything will happen with this.
