Surely if you are a old person of mineverse you would know that most of the original people have left, a lot of the minigames that were originally on mineverse are gone and most surely the community has changed as a whole. Even though I joined in mid 2014 (I believe not exact date) I have played for a long time even though I am not as active anymore. The community of mineverse is still good but I miss the old players. Hopefully you do too <3

-Lack of reset.
-Bugs going unfixed (some have been a problem for years)
-Using worse hosts to boost profit margins.
-A Broken anti cheat that gives hackers the advantage.
-Game modes like factions being completely broken.
-Mods becoming more inactive due to criticism.
-Owners taking bigger breaks due to criticism
-Suggestions not even being looked at.
-Ridiculous punishment lengths for first-time chat offenses.
-Many donation issues.
-Gamemodes falling to 12TPS on a regular basis. *cough* 6TPS on op factions *cough*
-Random server side lag spikes that give everyone online 1-3 bars
-Rising number of glitches. (kb swords rubber banding people)
-Gamemode resets coming with game breaking bugs that go unfixed.
-Using server storage to give "Person X is bad at Y" announcements.
-The owners straight up lying about getting kits and perks ingame.

These are a few of the reasons people are quitting.

 

Minecraft peaked in popularity two years ago. Most people have since slowly moved on to other games or stopped gaming all together.

Kids grow up and find other things to occupy their time. I have a few older players that I still keep in touch with. Most no longer are interested in minecraft but check forums once in a great while to see who still is here like you.

A lot of what @Mega_ posted above is also true. But what it boils down to is minecraft is losing popularity. Some of the older ones still here have grown frustrated or become pretty toxic because of these issues not being fixed and watching everyone leave.

The reason I quit was because you cant play Kitpvp2 anymore, my fav gamemode, cuz of hackers... :( Mineverse is dying, cuz they aint doing anything with it, if there wouldnt be any hackers, I would be on 24/7. Cant be on 5 mins without a bhopper...

 

True but some communities are at their highest (Shall not be named) and have a huge player base. Mineverse is just loosing players by the day and it has been for a while.

 

Well the infection update ruined it for me. I still play minecraft, but not other servers. I'll probably play Steam during the school year since I need to finish Nier;Automata lol

 

I got that from a lot of players XD I hope they do return to the og one though :/

Why the ogs left? I know many people have stated issues, but here are mine.
-Inactive owners
-Inactive staff *cough* (Not all of them, but most of them)
-^^^ When some staff do get on, some get on for like 5 - 15 minutes and stay on one server the whole time
-Toxicity
-Rank issues
-Bugs
-No anticheat
-Everyone is complaining
-People hate on staff constantly
-Hackers make up the majority of mineverse
-Said hackers have infinite alts or vpns
-Staff seem to group up a lot, meaning hackers go rampid on all the other servers while all of them are on others (usually oppvp, kitpvp2, and prison)
-Games removed
-Games being reset
-games NOT being reset
-It's bunch a bunch of 12 years olds that call you "bad" and "ez" even if they barely hit you
-Kids that filter bypass and try to roast each other all day
-Loss of interest in minecraft in general
-Everyone else is leaving, so why not?

 

When people have the max rank is games they stop playing games, because they have gotten bored of not leveling up.

 

im legit the only og who plays weekly even tho extender and random hackers ruin this server and are toxic with all there L gang . If anyways wondering im C_O_M_B_O from YoShadows Video of "So many crapples" which he deleted and for my older ign i am PLentakillboy.
Pile please add a anticheat and just permantly ban hackers .
