    Words such as-
    1. Damn
    2. Hell
    3. Gay/Homo
    4. Lesbian

Should not be blocked. They technically aren't even swears!

Support, especially for uncensoring 'Gay', 'Lesbian', and 'Homo'.

In My Opinion: Censor 'Fag', and un-censor both 'Gay' and 'Lesbian'. People may feel offended by improper use of these words ('Gay' and 'Lesbian'), but I believe it is worse to treat these words in the same manner as a curse word. Even if someone tries to use these words in an insulting manner, it's best to simply point out that it's not an insult and to report the player if such behavior continues. I know not everyone is this mature, but I think people are more likely to be hurt if they feel the server has censored these words for the wrong reasons (since not everyone will think of the good reasons to do so), while in contrast, one or two people using these words in a negative manner can simply be ignored and is easier to brush off. To top it off, evading the filter is generally quite easy (happens all the time .-.), so people that use these terms as insults will likely continue to do so even if they are filtered... Having them filtered will probably encourage them to find a way to bypass the filter too.

    Also, the message given when trying to say 'Gay' or 'Lesbian';
"Please do not swear, otherwise an action will be taken!"
Forget about "might seem offensive", this is just outright rude.
I know it's most likely just preprogrammed that way, but that doesn't justify leaving it like that.

(I've said this on a different thread, but it applies to this one as well, so I'll say it here too.)

These aren't bad words obviously, however, people can be bullied for these three words above.

I think that by using offensive terms like this, they become desensitized and gradually lose their value as cuss words.

The classic 1939 film, "Gone with the Wind", featured the line "Frankly My Dear, I Don't Give a Damn"
At the time, simply using the word "Damn" horrified people so much, that people would actually get up and leave the movie theaters.
For referance, this word, along with the word "Hell" only become legal to even be said in a film about a month prior to the release of the movie by the MPPDA

Comparing that to today, massive difference

Plus these words being talked about are really so minor, who really cares...

plus the swear filter is already so easy to bypass, if people wanted to say rude things why use such inoffensive ones

Yeah I don't really get the it with the "update." Before it, you could say anything without restriction. Now they added swear filters, but the thing is, it's so easy to bypass it, so what was the point in putting them in the first place.

Neutral. These aren't exactly bad words, but people can still use them harmfully.

Damn and hell are swear words for certain people who grew up in stricter families, I always thought they were rude words, yet a lot of people use them. The reason these words are blocked is because they could be used in hateful sentences. They wouldn't block a word just because.
Gay, homo, and lesbian are blocked because some immature ( and homophobic ) players call other players the words and using them as unfriendly words. These words weren't always blocked, then people started using them immaturely and they had no other choice but to block them so players wouldn't get offended or sad because of the players that take out their anger with these words.
Yet these words aren't necessarily bad, they could be used in extremely hateful sentences, which could ruin other's days.

Neutral although they aren't really swear words, some people still consider them close to swear words.

As someone who is a fellow homosexual, I must admit I am definitely not keen on how words such as "gay" and "lesbian" are censored. I use those particular words very frequently, and I'm sure many other gays such as myself do. I am in support of decensoring them.
