why is gay censored

    Fag should be censored because it can be used as a derogatory term.
    The world lesbian means two women who are sexually attracted to each other... soooo.. how is that bad?
    As for gay, it should also be un-censored.
    I've had some moderators tell me that they only warn for bypassing those words if the offender is using them in an insulting way. So why not unfilter both the words, and let the mods decide if they're being used in an offensive way or not.

    Gay and fag are censored on skyblock.net lmao. Surprised why fag isn't censored on mineverse. Honestly it should be flipped. Fag be censored, but gay. Gay is expressing who you are and what you're viewpoints are.
    For example, I can say I'm gay because I believe in a gay relationship. But fag is a different story. Calling someone a fag is calling them a loser or stupid because they're gay.

    Honestly Fag should be the one that needs to be censored because it is being mean toward a group of people. I call people gay irl and they don't give a f*** at all lmao.

    I hope I don't get banned because I used fag lol.

    In my opinion fag should also be censored, I'm not going to say wether or not gay & lesbian should be uncensored or not simply because a lot of people use these words in a h*mophobic manner to offend and upset others, I think this is the main reason that the word is censored. I understand @Teeeb said let the moderators decide if the word is being used in a derogatory manner or not but mods can't always be online. I'm not saying that the words should stay censored I'm just putting the facts out there.

    Fragile people get offended over words like ''gay'' in an offensive context. Fragile people should be put on one island to live the rest of their lives. Nothing but benefits from that. Oh, and you don't need a developer to go into a config file and remove/add a word to the list of filtered words.
