Support, when I first started reported this is what put me off. I can defiantly see more people reporting from this.
Neutral If there is a video, or a link to Gyazo, people can just easily watch the video or press on the link. Would the moderators have to remove the video and possible link to a screenshot? And if so, players could easily just search the videos on YouTube.
Full Support This could lead to more people reporting and reduce harassment some people may receive from reporting. Honestly, I think reporting anonymously should have been an option already. ^^Support for this too^^
Support. They could just make report archives visible to mods only just like ban appeals. People can see online why they're banned so there's no need for reports to be seen. Reporter should also make there vids unlisted for their protection as well.
I never see people harassed by this, but there are a couple things you need to know. Sometimes, the player reporting them self is hacking, and with the IGN, we can ban them aswell. It just helps us know who's reporting too. And anyways, they can find out with their forums account, ect. No support, I see why you created this, but there are downsides.
I am fine if moderators are able to see who posted the report, they are moderators we are suppose to trust them about keeping Mineverse safe and other players well being. It's just after mods have made a judgement the post is then sent into the archives and it's basically release to that public. Now that is what I don't want.
The idea of editing out the username etc. is just so time-consuming. I'd like for reports be moved to a hidden archive, same as appeals. If a player wants to then show the report(s) to someone they can screenshot it themselves.
^^^ This. I've always thought they should be hidden in the archives, but nice idea. I've seen many players targeted because of this
Neutral, I think this is a good idea, I just think there are other things that have more priority to implement. I think the fact that people can find out who reported them is not a huge deal compared to the server's other more pressing issues.
