Are developer applications possible.

Hi,

Title says it all. Are developer applications possible? I'm not immediately looking to create an application, although I would certainly consider it. However, thought I'd ask if it was at all possible. Primarily because I haven't seen our current ones do much. No disrespect intended. Just haven't seen them do anything. Might be my lack of observation.

imo no, though I believe you'd make a good one. I personally see Matt being involved most with what's happening in the server, and getting plugins installed, getting servers running, resetting stuff (OPFacs). Don't know where Tanner is at. Secrecy, I'm guessing. :>

 

The developers are paid - I believe, so you'd have to probably send a job application :l

Also, server-development isn't just about Java programming. I remember somewhere @Matt stating he did system-administration, this isn't exactly an easy task, and I think being a developer is a job that requires a higher level of professionalism other than applying on the forums, due to its complexity.

Yeah. I saw a post by Crew a while ago on the Spigot forums, asking for an experienced developer. I'm almost sure the developers are paid, might not be a salary, but more a per-project agreement. I also remember reading an application written by Tanner at another server where he stated he worked here on a per-project basis.
