Saw a thread about adding back the old OP Factions and felt inspired. I just thought about all the hard work cyp put into it and the amazing features that were added during the OP Factions reset

Here is a list of things that the OP Factions reset added:
-Did something to make the server pretty much stay at 15tps (You wanna raid that base? Though luck cannons don't work)
-Removed withers
-Removed nether stars
-Removed the End
-Disabled Obbybreaker
-Added a boss that doesn't stop spawning so there can be over 100 there at a time
-Added mobs with the boss that fly away and can be found 15,000 blocks away, flying past your skybase
-Added a quest system that is broken
-Added a command so anyone can find your coordinates
-Removed kits
-Capped Mcmmo
-Added a HyperInflated economy by making everything 6-50 times more expensive and selling is cheaper. "Last map wool was 1k for a stack" */shop* "Holy crappers it's 50k!"
-Added a scoreboard that takes up half your screen, can't be removed and disables you from doing mcmmo commands.
-Haven't fixed the bug where you fall through chests, rendering sky bases super risky.
-Haven't fixed that you're able to nether portal into bases
-Added a broken factions plugin so you can't open chests in enemy/neutral/your own land
-Disabled commands in pvp so you get stuck in a hole with 10 people you're gonna die
-Made creeper eggs extremely rare. (The rarest win from the voter crate)
-Added ultra and legendary crate key (that is even worse than the common and rare crate keys) (The normal voter one is the best lol)

as sad this is, it's true.

No effort or consideration was put into the resets, and the cons overthrew the pros.

Cyp asks why people are asking for another reset or are leaving the server and this is why.

I agree with you about that except for "no effort" part. I would say not enough effort

 

He just needs to get people who actually play the certain game mode to do the beta testing. Not randomly selected people or staff that never/rarely get on the game mode.

If he does that, game modes will have more successful resets.

That's what I meant, just used exaggeration to make my point ;)

 

I would admit that I was helping to test OPFacs, and stopped playing that gamemode shortly after it was released.
