Harsh reality alert! That's life. When the people we love go away, we're sad. Don't mess with nature. You'll still see your parents. Just keep thinking: they'll be back in a couple weeks. There's no problem with that. They'll return safe and sound, just think of it as 2 weeks of staying up late and eating dinner in front of the television or some other cliche. One day you'll have to face the reality of never seeing your parents again, so I'd stop worrying about it, enjoy having a happy family whilst it's happening. Typical response: Cheer up, kiddo! You can still facetime with them! Your parents are going to live forever and ever and you'll never loose / not see them again!
You are alone. In the house. For 3 weeks. I'd be cheering really. Thrilled as hell. Being away from your parents for a long time can be challenging at first. Happened to me when I moved to the other side of the country for a few months for internship. Had trouble coping on my own for a bit. But ye know what? It turned out to be a great experience. This first time might be tough. But eventually it will get more fun.
Maybe just FaceTime them and say everything is fine when behind you is 50 million things of you name it
Take up some hobbies to keep yourself occupied and take your mind off it You could bake (if you trust yourself enough not to burn down your house), build pillow/cushion/blanket/human forts (I believe they call the latter "gymnastics"), the INTERNET, or music, only louder. You could even get some friends to come over and have a party/sleepover/war. Whatever takes your fancy :p I hope maybe one of these suggestions is useful :D
I love being home alone. My parents are hopefully going on holiday soon too. The only thing I dislike about it is having to look after my 3-2 dogs.
Really, if I were you, I'll just be having fun with friends, like in real life and invite some people over to play with them or just do something.
don't listen to the people saying house parties if you think they're serious. If your parents doesn't allow that if they're away for a few hours there's no way they'll let u throw one whilst they're gone Just do the things that are more appropriate but are things u can't normally do, like dance naked around the house
