Ok, so copying and pasting versus macros are completely different from one and the other. If you use copy and paste in a fight, you will probably have to stand still for a slight second and perform the command. Basically, you'd copy the command before fighting and when you're low, you paste the command. This can be seen very efficient for players as it's a big life saver. But, macros are different. Basically the same purpose but it's triggered with a selected key on your keyboard. This can be performed in mid fight, which gives a advantage to the player using this illegal method. A well known mod that gives the player a macro function is LabyMod with it's AutoText function, which is like mentioned above, illegal. Anyway, to your question. Copy and pasting the command /heal is allowed, because it isn't macros.
Gunna' have to deal with it... Nah. Macros won't/shouldn't be considered. They're unfair on those who don't have them, unfair on PVP players honestly. Also, there's still a delay in copying and pasting, so as long as you are actually copying and pasting and not using it as a blatant excuse, then I'm sure - if reported - the moderators will be able to tell. Without Macros: - Press / - Press Ctrl+V / UP - EnterWith Macros: - Press G4 / Keybind You have to see, even if you do the first one pretty fast, there'll still be a delay between the two.
I can open chat and past so fast I lose no momentum, pretty risky for me because it looks like I use macros
You know I've been thinking about this and doing /heal and spamming it with the up arrow to auto repeat what you said you can make this easy to use is kinda a macro yes. Support
I dont think so, a macro is setting a key to a specific function (I think) Thats not setting anything, and if ordi said its fine than its fine. :D Thread closed
if you get reported you won't get banned. No matter how fast you are, you always have to stop for a moment to copy paste the command. After all, you can't move whilst typing
Wait, if you macro you don't have to stop, but if you copy paste real fast you stop. If people record you doing so, it will clearly show that you stop/don't stop in motion...? (Apologies if I got this wrong, I can't think straight and I'm very tired)
If you copy and paste it will take u atleast 1 second if you dont and you macro you just keep hitting
