Umm realistically you wont get mod until 1k+ messages unless your app is exceptional

 

It's completely up to you, but just make sure you meet the requirements for moderator, I would highly recommend to get many reports in, and get known to the community before applying. But it is completely up to you

 

It's always better to become known on the forums before applying, that way people go "Oh. This person's pretty cool, I liked their post (wherever).", it's just a good trait.

Also, once you've decided, perhaps close this - professionally speaking it doesn't look great.

Moderating Mineverse is a hard job for some, and to be honest; no one is ready for this job until they've moderated a server identical to this one. The stress and endless hate is continuous, so be prepared. I mean it.

 

Agreed. Staff are constantly hated on (OpPvP chat is just another day at school with haters tbh)
The salt is so heavy that you'll feel dehydrated and bloated within minutes.

Complete agreement with Elliot. I don't think your POV right now is going to cut it. (Your poll literally says should I wait until 100+ forum posts)... It's seriously up to you, and once you posted this, even if you put up an application in half a year, we'd remember it and you probably won't get support. So if you wanted to apply, making this thread to get attention is a terrible mistake.

I applied the day after I joined forums, look where I'm at now over a year later.
(Before there were requirements.)

The worst thing you can possibly do before applying for mod, is making a thread asking if you should apply for it.

Everyone that has replied, Thank you for what you have said and how this will help me. I am not going to apply not because of peer pressure but because now that I think about I am not that well known you could say. I am also not trying to draw attention to myself I was just curious to see what people would say. Sorry if this annoyed you and I didn't mean to annoy you if this did. I shouldn't have done this, I realize how much this makes me look like an idiot now... I just thought I should apply because there are almost no staff, If not 1 or 2 which is Quertiss and FearTheKlowns which are sometimes on in my timezome (UTC +12). I am regretting the whole idea of applying now, I might when I have 500+ messages.

Yeah, I've been a member on mineverse since 2014 - 2015 I just never used the forums
