Jesus christ you think the server magically stays open 24/7 on pixie dust and a dream?
This is not for the benefit of the owners. This is for the benefit of the community who play the server. Bet that all of you running your mouths about the owners being "greedy" and "stealing money" couldn't create a server with the same specs, ram, ddos protection and all the trimmings, run a forums, run a teamspeak and more without needing donations and support. Every extra bit keeps the server running and people can contribute to this as they wish.

This is a fantastic idea, it brings something nice to the forums at a reasonable price. All the efforts put into this is appreciated.

Honestly. The servers aren't very good. Everytime I am online, there is more lag on Mineverse than on any other server. Now I'm not saying I support this idea, nor that I don't support it: just when you pay $100-250 for a God or Titan rank, to be on top - I personally think you should get this? That's a lot of money. I doubt their network of servers will cost more than that monthly, and with the income, the ranks, perks etc. that you can buy - the server will make enough money to stay hosted off in game purchases. If they don't, then they need to switch host.

For the people who don't have the money to pay for this title, it's almost degrading.
Example:

User A: Post Count: 10
User A: Warnings: 5
User A: Economic Status: Wealthy
User A: Has fancy title, sparkling name - glitter g'lore.
User B: Post Count: Over 3000
User B: Warnings: 0
User B: Economic Status: No money
User B: Has some boring-title which they have worked possibly years to get

The server is being defined with money. There's almost no reason to even have the Trophy-points and chain of titles now. Like seriously? What's the point in spending ages posting, interacting and being active to try and reach the achievement of 'Boss' member, when you can just throw more money at the website and get 100x the perks of actually doing something on the forum?

It would be nice to give these people, who don't have money, but have the time to help where they can - interact on the forums, be active etc. something don't you think? What about moderators? They don't get special perks...

This is my opinion.

 

With the amount of people who have purchased a Titan rank, they could easily afford to keep things up. Your frustration is recognized and understandable but not entirely true. Seriously with all the donations over these years they could have purchased a 2,000 anti-cheat plugin already.

Seems like most of you guys don't appreciate it or think we're doing it for "money".

Those who have purchased it, you will keep the rank until it expires and if you purchased Lifetime, you will keep it for a lifetime of course.

I have removed account upgrades from the forum.

Maybe in the future, it might come back but for now, it's removed.
