so there is this new ''challenge'' going on, its called the blue whale game. it encourages people to do self harm, including cutting yourself, and, on the 50th day of the challenge, the objective is to KILL YOURSELF. anonymous has found out who the owner of the game is, and he got arrested, but there are a lot of other administrators that are running the game. if you want to do it then you must have the brain the size of a peanut.
You must be far back in time if you actually just noticed it, sorry. This "game" died few months ago, and its not the first time people started this trend. People actually played it 4years ago, and they will play it in the future as well. This "game" is made out by Russians and its really not worth talking about it in a minecraft forum.
It isn't, people still die to it ,yes, but that will always happen. What I meant by " This game died a few months ago" is that we actually all talked about this few months ago, it doesn't mean anything that the article is talking about it right now, they did find a girl on sunday.. So what? The game keeps on for one person for 50 Days, thats a month and 20 days to play it. At day 50 you have to commit suicide ( And film it ), those are the game rules. There are many clips of people hanging themselves, jumping off 20 floor buildings and everything. The news article is just trying to get the trend back up, even though barely anyone cares about it anymore. Glad you found it though, you now know whats going on in the world, I wont talk about it anymore since its just waste of time.
I don't see what's so wrong with this thread? I mean if people are still dying out there, then it is not dead. It's quite rude for you to dismiss a few people who died from this and say it's nothing much now.

If you didn't notice yet, there are a lot of young people here and these types of discussions might even affect them. I honestly think that talking about cutting, hanging yourself, jumping off from buildings in a minecraft forum is messed up, if you think its fine, then I don't know what to respond to that. The administrators of this game are in jail currently, which is why I'm saying the game is currently dead, ofc all of these stuff will come back talking how it came back multiple times. The admins of the game are jailed not for the first time, every time they come back they start the trend again. So like I said, the game is dead, people are still dying to it only because it takes 50days to "Complete the game". Some adnins are in jail but there are more admins and mods who still run the game. Also i agree with you that the game is currently dead but there will always be a minority who still help those people running it. When i say minority it sounds like a really small amount of players but that can also be a big number as at sime point there was a really big amount of players.
never said it was fine? Don't say things that I never said so you can shame me. Never did I also say this thread was not for the light-hearted, but it's a topic we can discuss. There are threads on homosexuality and some parents out there aren't ok with that. Violence and suicide is also a topic like this which is known by people out there, especially young children.
